  • Georgia now sells alcohol on Sunday’s, and the world is still exists! Wonderful article. I honestly believe racing will soon come to Georgia. GO Jesus! GO Thoroughbreds!

  • Rod Trahan says:

    You are a spot on!
    Hypocrisy is overflowing in Georgia!
    Press on!

  • Wonderful! Thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed it. Yes, it’s amazing the world still turns on its axis in spite of man’s best attempts to govern our way right out of the spirit of everything. I’m still waiting to be able to purchase a mimosa before 12:30pm on Sunday. I can’t imagine that’s what Jesus meant when he turned to his mother (when she called upon him to turn the water into wine) and said.. “My time has not yet come”.

Strange birds we are indeed in our well meaning efforts to legislate what some deem as immoral. Perhaps we should legislate credit card debt by limiting the amount of cards any one person can have, since this seems to be a bigger wager with more of a cultural affect than horse racing.

I believe horse racing will see its time in Georgia. Truth be told, I’ve never been to a horse race. My mother tells me they are amazing and I look forward to my first purchase of a fine, ostentatious hat along with white, gloved fingers. Sure hope those mimosas are available too. I jumped aboard this conversation because as a minister of the good news of Jesus, I just don’t get my skirt as ruffled by the ‘how’ man carries things out because nothing is new under the sun according to that same good news. No, I concern myself with the ‘why’. I mean, if these were turtles we were racing or hermit crabs, would the argument be the same? Eh. probably not.

One man’s addiction is another man’s simple hobby and so on and the reason for that begins in the heart, not the legislature. It seems perfectly acceptable for men to wager their way through a sexy game of golf. And for some, that wager involves the detriment of time spent with the family and finances inefficiently allocated, while creating a need to work more hours to ‘afford’ said habit, leaving a golf widow and kids who wish their father was around more often. See how that works? Maybe golf will be next on the legislative calendar. Doubtful, but maybe.

Carry on Thoroughbred lovers! My affinity for anything equestrian can be summed up very simply in God’s ability to speak to me through them In a time I could barely move from my bed because life knocked me down one too many times. My solace was found in afternoons meandering through the polo fields near my house, gazing upon the strength and beauty of horses only to find the spirit of God’s voice in their majesty, wonder and unbridled spirit. He reminded me of how easily a spirit can be broken and what it takes to mend. A creature worthy of honor and respect with such poise, grace and agility. They were born to run and so was I. Or the countless times the movie Secretariat would literally minister to my broken heart and inspire me to keep betting on myself. After all, he was a horse worth betting on, who just needed someone to believe in him and offer him the freedom to run his race. He needed someone to invest in his existence as a born champion. Don’t we all?

I can’t imagine where I’d be without all those who saw me as an investment, a champion worth betting on. I think of what funds from horse racing could actually accomplish in the way of possibly allocating funds toward real education. The impact on some of those kids that society would otherwise fund via welfare or the prison system. I think of how many little scientists we could bypass who could cure cancer or those little architects who could build our next taxpayer- funded stadium, for a sport that could afford to send all of ‘Bernie’s Kids’ to school for ‘FREE”. The possibilities are endless.

But glory be to God we have some who are willing to wave the morality flag to warn us of what we already know; man is capable of anything and we don’t need a racetrack to lose every dime or soul that we have.

    Peace and run your race!
    M

  • Tracie Finley says:

Monica, I Love You!!!! You say what I’m thinking SO WELL. I certainly can’t string words together like you can and make it make sense!

  • Minister Matthews,
It takes some real brass to be “vulnerable” by speaking the “truth in love”; Kudos. As I read through your article I could not help but sense the “enemy at the gates” you’re speaking to; fear and to make matters worse —-you are not afraid-, indeed that is “frightening” to our adversaries both physically and spiritually. Insecure people of every kind are intimidated by boldness and attempt to translate it into hate or contempt on your part. Fear is the driving force behind every side’s plight in these issues; I contend understanding leveraged with faith is the antidote. The Neurotic Religious Fanatic who is afraid of being seduced by a particular sin finds themselves battling sinners to shield themselves from being overcome. How many TV Evangelicals preached against a particular sin only to be discovered engaging in it themselves? Think of the Islamic Mullah who suggest a woman’s sexual appeal is the root evil rather than their own sexual obsession- these who demonize women and turn to pedophilia as an acceptable lesser of two evils.

If we look at Homophobia- A condition before the age of PC filtering that was known in the Psychiatric community as a condition where an individual fears being overcome by a homosexual i.e. fear of advances as if one may be “made gay”. Other types of fear within Homophobia is the fear that Homosexuals compete against the phobic’s ability to secure a mate. If we make the PC mistake of not taking psychology [including sexual dysmorphia/dysfunction] into consideration when evaluating these sociological phenomena we do ourselves a great disservice intellectually. In summation towards this point; excessive compulsive fear serves as a destructive force to social harmonics and strangely creates divisions in the name of unity/peace-

Fear is the root of racism more than hate, hate is one of products of irrational & ungodly fear. Many who grow up in western culture as people of color are frequently looked at with suspicion or fear; I say this not in terms of those who dress like thugs [thugs of all colors earn suspicion], rather those people who are judged superficially as dangerous or intimidating because of the color of their skin. This fear in the eyes of others creates resentment, distrust, and animosity. These are all systemic of irrational fears.

If the Fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom I would suggest fear of our human neighbors is the beginning of foolishness. The LGBT movement as well as the White Supremacy groups share the same motivation. Dominate what you fear, subjugate all to a single paradigm, and desecrate all things not in step with the “dream culture” they aspire for- a mentality void of true love.

Some may criticize me here for not speaking in theological terms, or proof texting as to why a particular party is in Biblical Error- I look to Jesus who took on a very perfect approach towards those struggling with sin, his aim was and remains the human heart and it’s motives. The Gospel contains no call to repent from specific sin, rather to turn from the condition of sin and look to the LORD for redemption. There is no line item list of sins or checklist of do’s and dont’s in the presentation of the Gospel as it would be premature.

We as the Church must remember the lost are “dead”, dead people can’t DO or HEAR anything- this is the miracle of the Gospel in that the deaf can hear and the blind can see “TRUTH” after they have come to the Knowledge of God. Preaching at those who struggle with sin before they have been divinely enlightened is futile. If it’s the Church’s goal to invoke “conviction” in people who do not have the Spirit of God they do so in vanity and without Biblical Mandate. Saint Paul did speak to many moral doctrines; yet which one was written to the lost? Was not the book of Leviticus addressed to the Elect just as the Pauline Epistles are written specifically to the Churches? The only message approved for the lost world is “Good News”. Period.

Minister Matthews we have Three Ordained Audiences [a subject I may expound on at a latter date]- Our Three Ordained Audiences are thus: The LORD of Host, The Lost, and The Church/Elect. In these three there also exist a posture that is appropriate to take with each, and only one of these are we allowed to fear; Namely God and none other. If we remove fearfully motivated hatred from our conversation with the lost then, and only then, can we anticipate conversion as the response. We have to be honest in evaluating our motives- are we speaking to the lost world “Good News” or are we combating the sins we fear?

The stepsister of Fear is “Mistrust” , the overtly religious individual does not Trust YOUR ability to discern what is right in the eyes of the LORD for YOU. And before anyone decides to remind me that “no Scripture is of private interpretation” I am not speaking to the interpretation of Scripture, rather the personal convictions written in our heart by the LORD and born out of our “relationship” with the same. They want to ensure you AGREE with line item doctrines/moral positions as to feel more secure in their own beliefs and convictions. When we have sincere convictions they remain unchallenged no matter what others think or believe. Romans Chapter 14 is indicative of our need to allow one another to work through our personal convictions and not attempt to force our moral positions into moral impositions; furthermore Saint Paul begins with these words so great I shall not even elaborate- I’ll let the folks pick their version . . . . It still resonates perfectly the same:

    **New International Version
Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters.

    **New Living Translation
Accept other believers who are weak in faith, and don’t argue with them about what they think is right or wrong.

    **English Standard Version
As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions.

    **Berean Study Bible
Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on his opinions.

    **King James Bible
Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.

    In His Love and Care,

    Rev. Lester W. Gainey

  • Hey there,

About a Christian in good conscience, voting for Donald Trump.
I have no problem sending a pit-bull with a smile to the Whitehouse.
Taking into consideration what and who he will have to deal with in Washington and our current untenable economic conditions, we need someone who can play hardball and also win over enemies.
But making economics alone won’t make America great again.
We need a revival, and for that we need religious leaders who exhibit God’s anointing.
Christianity is Christ. We need leaders in the Church who convey first hand knowledge of Christ to the flock, the country, and the world.
The fact that our people knew Christ is what made America great in the first place. To fully restore greatness in America, we must restore Christ to preeminence in our hearts and lives as Americans.

May God bless with hearts for Him above all else. Amen

  • Tell the whole story now Monica.
In September, the Internet becomes controlled by an international body.

    • “you openly admitted you will not support an issue that will make you unpopular”.. Hm. I did? If you are referring to my inbox messaging with you and not addressing the Presidency, you are incorrect in your usage of my admission. I’m exercising wisdom and restraint. Those things are subjective to me, not worth scrutinizing or otherwise implying something other than what it is.. Thank you:)

  • Staci says:

You have no idea what you’re talking about Christ Centered Teaching! That is something that Monica would NEVER say! She supports issues that make her more than just unpopular. People have made it clear that they hate “her” (in reality they hate God’s Word, because it convicts them), but she stays true to it no matter what they say.

  • Carol Baril says:

I just finished listening to your podcast on the religious freedom legislation here in Georgia. I want to let you know as a person of faith I found the conversation enlightening and educational. I took comfort in the words from your guest that I’m not alone trying to live my faith in my everyday life. Thank you for handling such a hot topic with the love Christ has for all!

    • Hi Carol! That’s wonderful. So glad you were edified. I tackle things not very comfortable for the Church to address and you never really know how it will be taken. The world is filled with defilement. I’m glad your take away was comfort and enlightenment. Makes my day. Glory be to GOD.

  • Tim Wright says:

Interesting post. Well needed for some of those that are far out there. May it bring some of them home to our Lord.

  • Bill says:

Great post, Monica! Superb reminder of how we all need to be refreshed.

  • Fatima says:

Love this Monica! Single or married this totally applies and such a great reminder. Thank you.

  • Michelle says:

So poignant! I cannot recall yearning for marriage as a young girl. I used to tell my mother I never wanted to marry. Of course I have since learned the reasons for those feelings…and have become the woman I am today because of my sometimes horrible experiences… yet, the best outcome was how they lead me to my relationship with Jesus Christ… I still don’t know why some things happen the way they do…it troubles me sometimes… but I trust He has the best plan for my life…and I will always trust Jesus… thank you for sharing your heart

    • Monica Matthews says:

Thank you for sharing Michelle! Everyone certainly has their place and purpose in this fabric called the Body of Christ.. some of us walk with partners and other don’t. I can relate to both:)

  • Staci says:

Such a great reminder! It is so refreshing to see your beautiful gifts manifest. Thank you for answering God’s calling on your life, Moni. His Kingdom needs you. Love you and I am proud of you!

  • Monica Matthews says:

Than you my friend!! Couldn’t make it without you!

  • Staci says:

    GREAT show Moni!

  • Staci says:

    Great Christmas gift! xoxoxo

  • Scott says:

Thank you for this beautiful, compassionate reminder that we don’t need to hit ourselves in the head with a hammer to attract the healing already waiting on us from the Great Physician!

    • Monica Matthews says:

Yes! When I draw near not even knowing what to say or how, he reads my heart and answers its deepest cries and questions in ways I couldn’t imagine on my best day:)

  • Staci says:

Amen Sister! Jesus bore our sins on the cross and He is not looking to pay us back for it! He doesn’t regret it nor resent us for it. He constantly tries to show us that He did it because of His love for us and no one has the right to beat us up for sin as if His sacrifice wasn’t sufficient.

Thank you for always speaking His truth. xoxoxo

  • Chadiera Holyfield says:

    Yes Sis! I love it.

  • Bart Mitcham says:

Monica, you grasp the concepts quickly. I tell every class, the best self defense training book ever written is the Bible. I read from Judges Chapter 7 in the class.

  • Scott Slade says:

This is one of the most encouraging, practical, liberating posts I’ve read in a long time. Thank you! (And thank for your the Greek translation to “perfect.” I had always thought it was “mature.” “Wholeness” is much better.)

  • Linda Oakley says:

Thank you Monica! These words of encouragement and hope are so deeply appreciated. This blog is so powerful. Amen to his word! Happy New Year and new beginnings in our Lord.

  • Susan Kennedy says:

I only just discovered you yesterday and already The Father has used you multiple times to encourage and love on me. Thank you sweet lady for allowing the Lord to use you in such a mighty way!

    • Monica Matthews says:

      Susan!
I’m so grateful to hear about his faithfulness in your life through the ministry he’s blessed me with. That makes my heart so happy. Thank you for joining me in my journey. Look forward to hearing more praise reports from you!

  • Dawn Melton says:

Thank you again, Monica, for speaking to my soul at a time when I need it most! I am forever grateful for you!
    ❤ Dawn

  • Michelle says:

Monica, I will do it today! Thank you for this message. I am NEEDY!

    • Monica Matthews says:

      Michelle,
Wonderful! In such an info age, I have to remind myself to DO the Word And not hear only. Good to see you are wanting to be intentional. He helps us with that too! xo Monicq

  • Pam Woodard says:

    Wow…..what an awesome word!!!

    • Monica Matthews says:

Thank you Pam! Words mean soemthing and what we allow others to declare over us or what we agree with that falls short of God’s truth about us, is a malignancy we can’t afford to say Amen to. xo

  • PLS says:

Thank you very much for posting this. We heard you read it Sunday AM on WSB and immediately tried to find it online.
Came back to your site and here it is!
Sending links to family! Thanks again.

  • Harriet says:

Thanks Monica. I enjoyed hearing this as well, and wanted a copy to share!

  • CSL says:

While driving my car on Sunday morning, I heard you read this Covenant on the air–and I was impressed with the wording of the text as well as its mission. I am also glad that I have been able to share this post with some of my friends and neighbors. Thank you for making this declaration available on your website.

    • Monica Matthews says:

My absolute pleasure to make such a declaration that so many of us can agree with as believers. We need a banner with which to run.. and while the Word is a superb banner, I thought this nailed it while tying the knot between Church and State and our fundamental obligation as ‘occupying’ kingdom peeps, to show up and get some things done by first, inviting our Lord into our plight.. Thanks for listening. In for the month of Feb as well.. stay tuned! Blessings.. M

  • Staci says:

Wow, such a precious and beautiful Truth. Thank you for sharing, Moni. ❤

  • Jan Barton says:

Thanks for your show. We really appreciate you having D.A. King of Dustin Inman Society on the program to discuss illegal immigration and also the effort to require recorded votes in our own Georgia legislature. It is important for people to pay attention to what our elected politicians are doing. It is very disappointing that Democrats & Republicans refuse to require recorded votes so that we know the kind of people we are sending to the Gold Dome. Refusal to require recorded votes should be a litmus test when go to the polls to elect our representatives. Those who want to hide their actions should not be re-elected, period. Thanks again! 🙂

    • Monica Matthews says:

My pleasure. D.A. has done tremendous faithful work in continuing to shed light on our major immigration woes in this state along with other shenanigans our legislators engage in. The people are ultimately responsible for their continued election. We need to begin investing in men and women who will not succumb to commerce & power lusts. Could take us a while but we can get there. We just have to show up. It’s truly disturbing.

Thanks so much for tuning in!
      :)M

  • Gerry Wade says:

To add to DA King’s comments, Governor Deal and Speaker Ralston gave drivers licenses to illegal aliens and paid their legal fees:

    Outrageous….

    • Monica Matthews says:

As I always say, follow the money trail outrageous is right. Full show will be up tomorrow evening. Thanks for listening and commenting!

  • Billy Inman says:

Thank you Monica an Da King for all ya do

    • Monica Matthews says:

My pleasure Billy. You guys are in my prayers. I’m sorry for your loss and most sane Americans are too. xo

  • Pam Woodard says:

Happy Birthday to you sweet lady…So many things I have read from you seems so much like a carbon copy of my life!! Have a wonderful day celebrating you!!

  • Heidi says:

So sorry I missed sending you a note on your official birthday, although I did send happy thoughts thru a dear friend…What I am not sorry, but eternally grateful for, is your presence in my life, albeit it a short acquaintance as it initially stands, the spiritual connection I feel with you is uncanny, I needed a sweet soul in my life, a girlfriend I can commiserate and rejoice with. I celebrate your birthday and I celebrate you…Rock on Sister-Friend, who’ve got a lot of this figured out and that gives hope to us all..XOXO

  • Esther Tubbs says:

What is a birthday about anyway?? Isn’t it an anniversary of our entrance into this world out of a protected warm womb into a cold, brand new environment where we suddenly had to breath oxygen to keep alive instead of floating in a liquid sea of life? Even now, Monica, you have been “birthed” forth into a new place, into a sometimes loud and challenging environment but your Lord and Friend has now mantled you because you have been greatly tested and now He will use you mightily as you breathe deeply of the oxygen of His Life that surrounds you. Yes, you were born for such a time as this. I celebrate You in the newness of this birthday time. Happy Birthday Monica!

  • G Andersen says:

Hey girl – so great to read how you are seeing the diamonds at the end of some dark years and pressure. Happy celebration of you … even today. God IS good. Congrats on the book.

  • Gloria Kite says:

Amen sister! I am a long time WSB radio listener and Scott Slade on Sunday morning has been one of my favorites. I listen to him while getting ready for church and was extremely upset the first morning you were one the air! After listening for the first show, I was hooked. Having someone with the bravery to speak the way you do about your faith so very publicly is wonderful. I thank God for you each Sunday and even during the week when I talk about your show to other people. Keep walking the talk!

    • Monica Matthews says:

Thank you! Giant shoes to fill. Scott is a trusted, faithful servant of our listeners, as you confirm here! He’s been my mentor for over a year. Any courage I have has been fostered and encouraged by my unapologetic faith along with the support of my leadership. I’m so grateful for the platform to work with excellence and glorify our faithful Father of all liberty. Thank you very much for reaching out! Your words are in my heart:)

  • Scott Slade says:

Monica, we need more of this. Thank you for reminding us we are not helpless. We would all be better off with your action steps, beginning with actually reaching out personally to each other. And with the faithbased initiatives you rightly mention, I love #10: observe your immediate community for needs. My dad told me, “A sure sign of maturity is being able to look around and see what needs to be done, and then do it.” As you said in your show this week, we don’t have to go halfway around the world–plenty of work in our back yard.
    -Scott

  • Staci says:

This is awesome! Love that movie scene too! xoxoxo

  • Very good story and so well described as if I were standing there on the plane myself. Hopefully others can take some valuable information from your point on how to just simply do your job professionally and consistently.

  • Phil says:

Good podcast, I’m always interested in any insights or revelations.

  • Robert wilson says:

    Monica
You are a breath of fresh air
    Robert

  • King says:

Thank you for pontisg these. I wish these would have played on prime time network TV as well as CNN. I guess the main stream media would like to keep this footage hidden.

  • Damon Hansard says:

Thanks. I needed to hear that on anger.

  • Phoebe Beckham says:

We lost our daughter this year so this Mother’ day will be tough. I miss her so much . She had just turned 25 and left behind 2 beautiful children. I know she is no longer hurting and God holds her safely in His arms. I appreciate the 25 years God let me spend with His child. She was a beautiful daughter, sister and mother and will always be in our hearts.

    • Monica Matthews says:

      Phoebe,
I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot even imagine the grief and pain. One thing I do know for sure, is that God restores and redeems everything for good and I trust that he will comfort you this Mother’s Day and hold you with loving peace in knowing that you will see your sweet daughter again one day. May her memory be eternal. Love, Monica

  • Marie Wentzel says:

    Still draining the swamp!

  • Bob Andretta says:

Terror in ATL? No, however, the high powered legal team who are representing the homeless man accused of starting the fire should go the way of Comey. In my opinion, they are using this man for their own advancement. Homeless advocates and Eleby’s Public Defender have been critical of the Georgia Department of Transportation for blaming the fire on the homeless man claiming the DOT should be held accountable for storing the material under the bridge. The DOT didn’t invite him under the bridge to smoke crack, if that’s what he was doing, didn’t ask him to start the fire, he did it all on his own. To call the DOT, for lack of a better term, stupid, they are guilty. There is not a judge or jury that can prosecute them for stupid.

  • John Minor says:

I believe Comey should have been fired. He was running a two tiered justice system: one for Hillary Clinton, and one for the rest of us.It appears to me that he is a political hack.

  • Michael says:

Catch you occasionally on WSB, Sunday AM but IMO you’re on too early. I’d prefer you be on-air in Allen Hunt’s old time-slot, 6P-8P. I believe you’d be more effective ’cause you’d reach more people. On the flip-side, I enjoy your show nonetheless…whenever I am up to tune-in.

    • Monica Matthews says:

Thank you for listening! I enjoyed my 3 hour show yesterday from 6-9pm… hope you had a chance to listen, if not, it’s up on Podcast:)

  • Kay Godwin says:

    I could not agree more

  • Terry ReevesHanger says:

    Love it!

  • Brenda Pate says:

I appreciate your opinion, however I totally disagree.

  • Cynthia says:

I like your idea of a Preservative Party – Constitutionally, biblically based to preserve our freedom and continued hope for the rest of the world for the soon coming return of Jesus Christ!

    • Monica Matthews says:

Thanks Cynthia! We can practice it without being on the ballot, but… it would certainly make a statement:)

  • Chris says:

I absolutely loved your show and now I am a big fan! I have been listening to you on Sundays and whenever I can catch you on wsb. You bring a wonderful perspective and have great words of wisdom. But you have fun too. I love listening. Keep up the great work. God bless!!

    • Monica Matthews says:

Thanks Chris! I appreciate you and your time! Keep in touch.. let me know what else you’d like to discuss on my show..:) M

  • Mark Witters says:

    Hi Monica,
Yes, our society, unfortunately, celebrates death, not life… That’s the problem. We must turn back to God to get things on the right track. After all, this IS a Christian nation.

Beautiful singing on Lord’s Prayer 🙂

    Thanks,

      Hi Rhonda!

Thanks so much for taking the time to reach out! I’m glad you enjoy the show. Every week is different but same batch of Monica:) blessings to
      You for a beautiful week!

  • Rhonda Beal Cox says:

I found this article/perspective so very refreshing! I do the same thing for my Mother, who is now 87, blind, deaf, poor cognition and all the other things that come along with being 87. No, I didn’t think of it myself; my supervisor @ work (for just a short time) shared that she honored her Mother on her birthday. So, since then I have been making feeble attempts to honor my Mother in many ways, with gifts of chocolate covered strawberries (Shari’s berries), flowers, etc……tangible items to “bring her joy”, since we lost my Daddy just a little over a year ago.

  • Mike Angelo says:

Yep. My 20-year-old daughter doesn’t talk to us any more, unless she want’s something, and even then, she texts most of the time. She can be in the next room, or I can be on the patio with the door open, and still…text! I’m afraid that when it’s time for her to start interviewing for jobs, she’s going to have a tough time with the whole non-verbal feedback aspect!

    • Monica Matthews says:

Hi Mike, I’m very sorry to hear this. It happens, but like I tell my daughter, if you’re in ‘our’ house, you will respect our ways of relating to one another. Ignoring isn’t one of them. It helps to remember who’s running the ‘asylum’ and it shouldn’t be our kids. Regardless of age. 🙂

  • Bob Olszanowski says:

I am soooooo happy to meet you and take care of your patio furniture issue for you! I tried to challenge myself to see how quickly I could figure out what pieces looked correct and which pieces had to come back apart.
I enjoy helping people with tasks that they may not be familiar with doing.
I hope I wasn’t one of them “Strange Men” that came into your home and made you uncomfortable! LOL.
I was more appreciative to meet you in person than the work you gave me after reading about you. You are an inspiration to a lot of people!!
Thank you again… Bob Olszanowski- Bobby’s Handy Services.

  • Betsybloo says:

I find it interesting that you would take this stand when you were married to a black man and have a bi-racial child. I would vote you off the air if that was possible. Shame on you!

    • Monica Matthews says:

lol. That’s a new one. My husband and child have basically zero to do with my freedom in Christ that surpasses our silliness here. Civil wars, slavery or otherwise illegitimate responses to my heart and choices, like yours. Bless your heart. ❤️

  • Yvonne says:

BRAVO Alan (and Monica for approaching this subject)! I am so proud of all that you are doing. So sad that people will not believe that those who are the predators are being protected in so many ways by others in higher places. I have several survivor friends who were molested by judges and legislators many years ago – one over 3 decades ago and are still healing. So if it happened then, it is happening now. Praying for you my friend as you move forward.

    • Alan says:

Thank you Yvonne for your comments and support plus your dedication to your specialty field of national advocacy. It is important for citizens to hear counter viewpoints learning about legislation. I am trying to rationalize all positive reasons why The Hidden Predator Act is so discriminatory. Lobbyist donate to politicians Campaigns therefore politicians are going to craft legislation that will not avert their interest. This Bill is being promoted like it is a Hallelujah Moment….Far from it! I am happy for any advances but this one is betrayal by omission and pretending to be a savior for victims. In my opinion it was political theater and not very good as the plot was too obvious. Pass slogan, make it sound good, put arbitrary language so only persons we like can get to utilize new law. Brilliant concept but predictable. I support all persons working towards solutions just don’t be dishonest and explain why it’s baby steps. I can honestly see why it might have to start slowly but don’t victimize survivors again without explaining the logic of why only a sliver of pie for a VIP group. God Bless this show and Monica for offering alternate viewpoints.

    • Monica Matthews says:

Thank you Yvonne. It is an epidemic. People need healing. If men who were tempted to rob the innocence of others would seek counsel to be restored instead of covered in false protection (aka permission) or shame and guilt, we may see healing occur. Until then.

  • BUDDY ANDERSON says:

Monica, thank you for sharing…. I appreciate the way you open your heart , it is quite refreshing to witness someone actually being honest…. you struggle, I struggle, if we tell the truth we will all say that we struggle…. we struggle inwardly and outwardly…it is during those struggles that God speaks loudest to me….sometimes I hear Him, other times the roar of the crowd drowns Him out, because I am not focusing on Him but rather on the crowd….He oftentimes brings me back closer to Him through books…… he recently just GAVE me a book to read, one that I had known that I was supposed to read for at least a decade, yes I said He GAVE it to me, placed it in my hand via a man that He put into my life. The man did not even know that he was giving it to me….. crazy story that I will share on another day!!
Lets pray, Thank you God for putting people in our lives to touch us, to work spreading Your word, to lift up the downtrodden, to encourage the depressed and lonely, to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked…..Thank you God for working in our lives when we least expect you too …in Jesus name, Amen.

GIRL! I need a TRUE date night! It has gotten that Dana and I rarely talk anymore. You can ask Chantelle, when I was talking about deactivating my Facebook account, she asked why. For some reason I was compelled to tell her my fears that he is looking for someone else and my marriage is falling apart. I would LOVE to be able to just go to the Botanical Garden and walk hand in hand with him. Just us and the lights. Leave the phones in the car (or better yet, AT HOME) and it be just me and him.

  • Wonderful article for 3 widows in my office. We were just discussing what you’ve written about. Thank you so much. The Lord is surely with you.
I feel like He had me tune in to your Sunday radio program. I’ve shared your videos with friends and family. I’m not on Facebook or Twitter so I’m

Thank you for being so open and honest.

  • Judy Davis says:

I am serious about Monica Matthews for President. You make great sense and I always love hearing your opinion about what is currently happening. Most of your subjects I had already made a decision about and most of the time you say what I was already thinking but you are much more eloquent. Some ideas I differ with you but after hearing you I can see that you are absolutely right. I love that you can give me different eyes. Keep up the good work and I look forward to Sundays and not just because that is the day I get to worship a good God but because I can hear your program. Lately I am feeling abandoned by our good God and am trying to hang on to the Word and it’s infallibility. If you have time, please remember me in your prayers.

    • Monica Matthews says:

      Hi Judy!

First, thank you very much for your support. I’m so glad to hear from you. Secondly, I can completely relate to feeling abandoned. My remedy is to keep speaking the Truth out loud in spite of how I feel. I try to remember that Satan’s number one job is to alienate us from our Father and usually through thoughts and feelings. He is the accuser of not only the brethren but of God to us. I look at it as someone talking trash about my daddy. If I can separate me from the ‘feelings’ and ask God to show me why I am choosing to believe less of him, He is faithful to show me. It usually breaks my heart. In a good way. It brings healing get honest about why I may not only feel, but actually believe I am abandoned by him. Circumstances, my past, other people, can all point to feeling abandoned because it’s what I’ve known the most throughout my life. I find, I have to CHOOSE to believe him when he says he will never leave me or forsake me. It can be challenging for sure. Something else that helps me is to write down all the areas I CAN see his presence. I’m usually pleasantly surprised. I hope this helps:) Keep ME in your prayers too. Love you

  • Barb says:

Totally agreed with all you said yesterday….especially that half-time show comment……it truly made me ashamed to be from Atlanta………so sad what is happening and who we are promoting, etc….

    • Monica Matthews says:

Thanks Barb. It was a real UGH moment for me. It’s all about money, marketing and publicity to work in conjunction with the movie he has a title track presence in. I call it societal malignant narcissism at its finest. You take a generation and plug their heads full of anger, lawlessness, rejection and rebellion through music yet, give them a super hero who can rescue them. It’s maddening. Reminds me of a few men I’ve dated. Abuse you and then try to comfort you and give you an identity after killing yours. This is the result of a generation with no roots in spiritual identity coupled with national shaming perpetuated by the one man everyone thought could bring healing to the nation on a cultural level. How wrong we were. We’ll pay for that for a while.

  • sue Brown says:

I love how honest you are and how to the point you can be, thank you, my dear, for all your inputs

    • Monica Matthews says:

Thank you Sue. I’ve been up against some real demons in my life. I’ve faced the possible death of my child several times and had to call upon God like never before. People don’t usually sway me from being honest. It has cost me many relationships and I’m good with that. I have to look at my face in the mirror when no one is around. I may not always like what I see, but I’m honest about it. It’s the only starting place to any form of redemption. xo

  • sue Brown says:

You are most of your listeners’ voice you say what we feel and or wish we could say if only someone would
    listen

    • Monica Matthews says:

Well thank you Sue. I appreciate you listening and taking the time to respond! People are listening. We now need some action:) xo

  • Carl J. Walsh says:

Monica, do you think this is a product of our instant gratification society? People these days want to change the world as long as they can do it from the comfort of their chosen social media outlet (ie. #hashtag movements). I mean people are willing to make a donation, but don’t ask me to actually go out and make a change or difference in the world. Or is it just the laziness of our world these days? Everyone is just to busy in their own world to get up and actually do anything. In order for another MLK to arise you need someone who is actually selfless and full of humility. They would have to live the life of everyone before them everyday. What are your thoughts?

    • Monica Matthews says:

      Hi Carl,
Great question. I would say yes, to an extent. We have been given the faux comfort of what appears to be relationship. The Word tells us in the latter days people will become lovers of selves. If we see nothing else, we see that. I would also say that people don’t feel an inherit worth of themselves, to to show up as opposed to hitting a DONATE button is safer. As selfish as we are, we have a real lack of self love epidemic. Believe it or not, it takes humility to receive pure love toward yourself from God, much less be able to pour it back out. We have readily accepted a ‘fix’ in place of the real thing where our identity is concerned. I’m guilty too. But thankfully, God has allowed me to not only see the error of my ways and why I do the things I do, but to also relate it to what’s going on around me so I don’t lose heart while shining a light.

Fatherless has contributed greatly to this welfare state of mind, heart and spirit. We are over sexualized to the point of self orgasmic exhaustion. We’ve settled for the self pleasure of alienation as opposed to actual unity which requires intimacy and true transparency. No one wants to risk actual rejection so we sit in our recliners and imagine the worst of each other, with our stones neatly clutched in our bosom riddled with fear. It’s all so costly. We have derailed and it will take brave, Spirit filled men and women to bring us back from the depths of societal madness the enemy of all liberty has birthed in the hearts of God’s greatest creation: us.

      xo

      • Carl J. Walsh says:

        Monica,
I couldn’t agree with you more. People have really grown into the social media worlds they have created around themselves. They surround themselves by “like minded” people who will agree with everything they say and do, if you disagree with anything or challenge their opinion you are blocked/deleted. I believe that this has become a major contributor to the discord in our country. We have lost all verbal communication skills and in so doing the ability to communicate with people who have a different view or opinion that their own. People have come to thing that they must agree on everything in order to be friends let alone mates. Personally this concept is very foreign to me as I am friends with a lot of people I don’t agree with and love a good spirited debate. Why have we become a society who doesn’t really stand for anything anymore? Ask the average 20 something what they stand for and the answer will be scary. I struggle to see a path of repair. I hate that as a man of strong faith I take such comfort in knowing that God will provide for all of my needs and only brings people into my life that He intends to be there, either for me to touch their life or for them to touch my life.

  • Carl J. Walsh says:

Thank you Monica for all of your hard work and for being a voice for us victims. I know you’re also a victim and I pray for you daily. You’re a wonderful person and I believe God connected me with you for a purpose. I will be here to fight again next year. I can’t thank yourself, Esther, Darren, Jason and many others enough. You are all God sent!

    • Monica Matthews says:

Kyle, it is my honor. I’m very sorry for what happened to you. Justice WILL prevail. Even as a victim, I’ve had mercy for perpetrators. As a minister, I know they are in a snare and I pray for their release. I can’t seem to get to the same place with people who refuse to offer justice because of monetary affections. Pray for me. xo

Congratulations to your daughter on her graduation from Southern Cal! What a great accomplishment! And to keep her conservative viewpoint intact; that’s great too!

  • Thank you for supporting Gobernadorial candidate Senator Michael Williams. Williams Governor, beat the establishment. “If you want more politics as usual, vote for my opponents. If you want conservative reform, vote for for Michale Williams.”

    • Monica Matthews says:

My pleasure Marissa. I’ve seen too much to turn a blind eye to the brothel at our Capitol. Senator Williams has too. Georgians have been conditioned by the Obama of Ga for the past 8 years, so Casey reps ‘The Emperors New Clothes’. Not for me and my house. When it becomes offensive to your party and your opponents to uphold the law, you know you’ve lost the state.

  • Nora says:

Who was the person helping you with extending the rape victims to prosecute ? Very important,is he running for office! If so is would you please post his name..Is it Josh McKoon?

    • Monica Matthews says:

have no idea. Josh is running for office. If you are referring to representative who carried HB605, he too is running for reelection. That’s Jason Spencer

  • J Mark Walker says:

I am a white man, and I do not feel guilty about it. White Privilege is something I do not remember experiencing. However, I did experience “work ethic privilege.” The best job I ever had was offered to me by my Sunday School teacher because he saw that I was reliable and showed up and did what I said I would do. Long term, I was the most profitable sales guy in his company.

Do do remember being told that, while I was qualified for a federal government job in Washington, DC, I was the wrong color. The woman interviewing me pointed around the large room full of desks occupied by mostly black women. I was there in a suit and tie, and well groomed, which was appropriate for a job interview in the 1970’s. She said something like: “Look around this room. You would not fit here.” Fortunately, I agreed with her, thanked her and left. Later I took a great job doing something I loved, and got promoted.

I agree that people have been and are discriminated against because they are the wrong color, sex, nationality, and so fourth. It is important to focus on what is required to get ahead in your chosen field, and find a place where your are appreciated for what you do, and who you are, not what you look like. Your employer should not be forced to hire you because you are a certain race, sex, country of origin or for any other reason than you being the best person for the position.

If that government personnel manager had not been honest with me, I could have possibly taken a job with a terrible commute, in a place that was driven by political correctness, not effectiveness, which would have been a terrible frustration for me. I have always appreciated her honesty, which, unfortunately, would not be tolerated today.

  • It should be recalled that Roe v. Wade was a decision rendered in search of a Right. One not being found, the Court created a “Right” out of whole cloth. The Constitution makes no provision for a “Right to Privacy,” certainly it appears nowhere in the text of the Document, and is inferred nowhere in the Founder’s Papers. The Fourth Amendment, often cited in support of the presumptive “Right” was a response to a practice allowing military and paramilitary personnel to “invade or trespass a citizen’s home to find cause to detain and arrest, without warrant. Papers, seditious or rebellious, could be seized and used to justify charges against a citizen. The Fourth Amendment exists to prevent this abuse, there is no connection to any purpose of personal privacy. Moreover, SCOTUS did not review a “Law” or examine any action or enaction of the Legislative or Executive Branches of the Federal Government. The Ruling is an example of Judicial Activism at its worst, and is itself, by any standard of Judicial Review, a false narrative based on a false premise and is on its face, unconstitutional. And to those who continue to argue that such a Right as to privacy exists, please consider that for a significant period of my life time, the Selective Service could demand my presence, remove my clothing, inspect me like a hanging side of beef, subject me to physical examination including genital palpitation and rectal digital insertion. All of this without an Act Of War and further could “impress” me into Federal Military Service and expose me to severe danger and even death. I ask any sentient person what “Right of Privacy” is guaranteed by the US Constitution? My generation can demonstrate against this notion with over 55,000 signatures written on a black granite wall, The Vietnam Memorial, Washington DC. Where was their “Right to Privacy?”

  • Babbette Michelle Lee says:

OMG the term White privilege sets me off. I am tired of being called racist by people who don’t know me because of my skin color only to apologize later when they see me with my biracial son. White privilege PALEEEEEAAAAZZZZZ. My mamma was raised on the streets of Los Angeles. She was raped at the age of 3 years old by a 16-year-old boy in their neighborhood which was “the hood”. Her father died when she was 2 years old and her single mother back in the 40’s who could not afford a babysitter would tie my mother up to the bedpost and leave bowls of food on the floor for my mother to eat while my grandmother went to work. My mother was beaten by her mother to the point that the scar tissue on her brain from the beatings caused her to have a seizure disorder. My mother crawled out of that life when she met my father in her early 20’s, they together built a life of middle class because of hard work and determination. NO handouts just hard fucking work. I thank God for the examples my parents exhibited for me and my 4 siblings. Because of their example, we are all thriving hard working tax paying American citizens who are NOT sucking off the teet of our country expecting handouts.

  • Babbette Michelle Lee says:

OMG This is so beautiful Monica, Thank you so much for sharing.
It is the Glory in the Story when told with complete transparency
that connects us to our brothers and sisters.

You have done a magnificent job raising your beautiful daughter!
I imagine having great parents as it appears you have, helped set
that course of strength and determination to be the woman and mother
you have become! And let us not forget that promise God gives even
in those moments where you feel you just can not take a minute more,
he sends his angels to comfort you and he whispers in your ear that
gentle reminder “you are mine and I
will carry you through your darkest season”.

    Thank God for the knowledge
that Christ is our Redeemer, my heart aches for those who do not know
or worse reject such a life-saving companion

I can’t imagine what you went through then only to go through it again and in a more disgusting manner. It takes courage to share your pain and by doing that, you gave a voice and face for others who can’t share their experiences. For that, thank you. May God send his continuous love to you all. It’s disgusting how politics and politicians play games with people’s lives and hearts all for political gain. In the end, God will always prevail.

  • “I am not a blind follower of anyone.”I like the sound of that. Why do I follow The President? There is a nuance. I do not follow him because I agree with him. More accurately, I follow him because he agrees with me. A small but important difference that I find is very meaningful. The message from Dr. Alveda King has bolstered my hope that these pastors will not fall prey to the propaganda from the left. That they will share with their congregations the truth about those who feel they are entitled to our vote. We are called to be a forgiving people. We are not called to be stupid people. Thank you for your strong dedication Ms Matthews.

  • Barbara Leonard says:

    Hi, Monica,

You may have already received this email sent by Debbie Dooley of the Atlanta Tea Party, but I felt it worth passing to you since you have been bringing attention to the fraudulent Lt. Governor`s race. My ears perked up when you stated that you were going to vote for the democrat. Personally, I hope that Debbie is successful with her complaint to the A.G. here in Gwinnett county. Do you think a letter writing campaign to the A.G. to pursue this injustice would help? Honestly, the more I learn the less trust I have in “any” level of so-called government. The elected officials are bought out and self-serving. After fifty years of participating in elections across this state, I am about to throw in the towel. The corruption here in Georgia is as blatant as it is in the District of Criminals.
    Hope this link works.

We are raising a generstion or two of ” p*****”I know the Bible said each generation would become wiser but weaker, and I see the prophecy has come to fruition. When they allowed prayer( in ’63 I think)whether you believe in Christ or not, along with prayer went discipline.Im white, was taught to work, raised poor as dirt, made a lot of money, p*ssed most of it away, anything good or bad that has happened in my life is,was and will always be on me!! These crybaby, weak bastards, make me sick, a good a** kicking is what some need, but our P**** country would only lock someone up for that. I worry about our future in this country and world, I hope God is ultimately in control, if he isnt, we all go down in a sh*tstorm!!! As my old preacherman used to say,
    “Get right or get Left”

    • Monica Matthews says:

I feel your pain Ed. Our nation has indeed lost its way. I’m grateful every day I have work! It’s tempting to worry about our future and not DO something while we have our time here. Clearly, you have a lot to say. Keep showing up. And don’t lose heart. My preacher man used to say the same thing. LOL xo

  • Barb says:

You go girl !!! Love your show…..just wish you were on more often…….any chance?

  • Rob White says:

Great show! In answer to your quandary about the Target incident, all of my family are cc permit holders. Had I been in that situation, I would have drawn my weapon prepared to go, but kept pointed at the floor while I continued to assess if anyone had the means to threaten my life or if such a threat was obvious. Don’t get me wrong, it would have been very stressful and difficult to exercise that level of restraint in that situation
However, I feel reasonably confident that the offenders would quickly scatter like cockroaches in the presence of an obviously armed and capable individual. Hardest part would be if offender didn’t retreat, but continued with that behavior advancing into within arm’s length, which I would consider a reasonable threat to my personal safety that would demand the use of a lethal defense. I’m just very grateful that I wasn’t exposed to such a situation, but that is precisely why I carry concealed every day every where!

  • Monica – you are awesome and you have raised an incredible daughter. I cannot believe she has such grit to walk through the hurting and be so very transparent! And to reach out to others! I want to shout out loud,
“You go girl! You are real and lovely and want what we all want – to be truly seen and truly heard. And as hard as this is – there is really one sure place that happens – but you already know where that is: in the arms of your heavenly Father. Hang in there my young friend. This is not the end. You will never forget this moment of raw hurt. But there will be another who sees you and helps you to feel wonderfully alive while you walk this path. You are lovely! God’s peace to you.”
Monica – Thank you for sharing your self, your daughter and your words!

  • Paul Varsalona says:

I absolutely agree with and having been saying everything you said in this article for a few years now. I was a restaurant owner in Atlanta (well Cobb County) my restaurant was busy as hell grossing nearly 2 million a year, but I sold it to relocate and move out of the Atlanta area. Unfortunately Atlanta and the whole metro is done. My father owned businesses, restaurants dating back to 1988 off of Cobb Pkwy, Roswell Rd. Alpharetta Highway and Canton Highway now all dumps. I grew up in East Cobb, attended Walton high school and graduated from Life University in Marietta. (Nutrition and Sport science Degree) Most of my life is in Atlanta, my best friends, doctors, accountant, etc. But I’m done. Let me go through a list of crime that has affected me or people around me personally. 1) ex girlfriend robbed at gunpoint at 11am at gas station off of Wieuca and Roswell rd 2) cousins house in Virginia Highlands off Ponce broken into twice 3) gunshots fired at front of club off of Marietta Street when my friends where working the door 4) My good friends girlfriend moved from Denver a few years back. She lived in Virginia Highlands and was burglarized so she moved to Midtown, well Atlantic Station, and was burglarized again! So she said to hell with this place I’m going back to Colorado and told my buddy if you want to come with me then come on. They are now married and live quite peacefully outside Denver. 5) 2 months ago I ate at Barcelona Wine bar (which of course you know about the murder there last year) but the night I ate there 4 hours after I finished my dinner there was a gun fight outside of a hookah bar less than a mile away. Glad I didn’t stick around that night. Then the suburbs are equally as unsafe. 1) There was just an armed carjacking of a Publix manager who was walking to his car in Roswell (right by Roswell high school) 2) a murder off of Bells Ferry this year (I think around May) at 6pm at a gas station. 3) Another man found shot in the head right around the corner from North Cobb high school. 4) home invasion where grandmothers were tied up in Alpharetta. I could go on and on and on. I’ve talked to numerous people who are relocating out of the state. A band teacher who moved to Kennesaw from Ohio around 8 years ago recently relocated to Texas. He told me and I quote “Cobb County ISD has gone to hell, I know numerous teachers from just my high school (Kennesaw Mountain) as well as others who are relocating to places like Texas and Tennessee. How about the shooting in broad day light at The Avalon in Alpharetta. The thug was shooting at a car as it drove off about 20 yards away. Anyone around could have been hit with a stray bullet. Just yesterday I spoke to a 61 year old man that said and again I quote “The worst decision I ever made was to raise my kids in Atlanta and not move them once I saw the crime increasing, because now they won’t leave, and they don’t know anything different.” That’s really sad. Anyway, I know that was long winded, but I just loved your article and wanted to share some stories of my own. Feel free to contact me upon receiving this email. Keep your voice out there and don’t allow the social media echo chamber to shout you down and or call you a racist because it’s simply not a race issue, but you know there will be those who will make it one unfortunately.

    • Monica Matthews says:

Paul, thanks so much for sharing. I’m just sorry this has been your experience. What a mess. We are in fact, busy trying to fight our own government to ensure we aren’t just rearranging the chairs not the Titanic, but Obama’s bleeding heart policies have left us basically beholden to the felonious criminal. It’s the Wild West here right now. I trust there more of ‘us’ than them in the way of law abiding citizens not willing to stay home scared because of bad actors. I hope you’ve found some peace and safety now. Pray for those of us on the battlefield. xo

  • Dan Rutz says:

Monica, I had WSB on this (Sunday 9/16) morning and heard you articulate my own impressions of how the organized Left and others who claim to care about women’s rights exploit them through demonstrations of fake-compassion. As a volunteer I work with men who have been abusive to women. I do this in the quest for “upstream” solutions that might prevent abuse though accountability by men to other men who, after all, are responsible for most of the violence against women and girls, worldwide. Acquiescing to the elimination of the unborn, as a “right to choose” is especially disingenuous coming from men who have nothing physical at stake once they’ve completed their sexual role. For those who address intimacy selfishly, or even casually, “pro-choice” advocacy provides them (the man) an easy-out, and at the same time appears to demonstrate respect for women’s autonomy. And women actually fall for it! What more can a narcissistic man ask for? He can get laid without consequence, and appear as a hero at the same time. I’ll stop, Monica, but believe it was not coincidental that I tuned in when I did today. I appreciate you for sharing tickets to the movie. Anne (my wife) and I will attend with gratitude.

    • Monica Matthews says:

Thanks so much for your thoughtful response and the work you do. It is a circus for sure. We just keep cleaning up satan’s earthly mess and kicking the can down the road, but never slumbers or sleeps. WE are his eyes, ears and hands in the earth. So, don’t get discouraged in your well doing, you are saving literally, generations. I trust you will see them on the other side of eternity and you will know the work you have complete in the name of life. God will reward you richly. He said it, not me:) Look forward to seeing you both Wednesday!! xo

  • Dean says:

What a complete joke and scam. Why do politicians try to do this kind of stuff? No wonder we can’t trust any of them, local, state or national. I guess they really do think we are stupid. We’ve also got no recourse or voice. Thanks for the great insight.

    • Monica Matthews says:

My pleasure Dean. It’s a real crap show, but after what I witnessed today at City Council meeting, Atlanta is NOT rolling over on this one. If council approves it, even remotely according to current terms, it will likely lead to a revolt unlike which the city has seen. Atlanta’s tired of this mess. Pray for your council members to stand their ground and red light this project and pray that whomever Keisha is beholden to, even if her own ego, she is set free.

  • Jo Ellen Vereen says:

Just heard on WSB radio news at 11 AM 9/17 that City Council vote on Gulch will be delayed for further study.

Preview screening of Gosnell. I would love to go to the preview screening of Gosnell, but it is too far away.I am 87 and do not drive great distance from Jonesboro. Have you thought of having a second screening for fans of yours that live on the south side of town.We seem to be the forgotten people as so many events and traffic reports only happen on the north-side

    • Monica Matthews says:

      Conrad,
I’m so sorry it’s so far for you. Are you up for an Uber ride? Let me know… don’t think the movie has another premier date, but if it does, I’ll keep you posted. Don’t feel forgotten my friend, you are not. You’re on MY radar. xoxo

God be my boyfriend. It is amazing how fast things changed. The world looked better, the world responded better and I didn’t miss the male gender. Not one bit. So take a deep breath ladies and if you don’t have an absolutely wonderful boyfriend, husband, etc. in your life just start walking with God. He’s a real hunk!

BTW, God said that he thought I was pretty OK so he put a really wonderful guy in my path to be my soul mate, with God’s blessings. Remember, “It’s never too late to live happily ever after”. Yay God!

  • Sandy Languell says:

Two years ago, our granddaughter, Kelly, found herself in a horrific situation. She was married with a year and half-old daughter, a newborn son and a husband who “claimed” he could not find work. She went back to work earlier than the required recovery period following a C-section. She worked at her teaching job during the day then worked at a restaurant as a waitress evenings and weekends to support her family. The father was supposed to watch the children, but he severely abused the baby causing brain damage. She has since filed for divorce and he is now awaiting trial. For the past two years, Kelly has been working at both of these jobs. The children were removed from the home but luckily, temporary custody was given to Kelly’s mom and dad. She has had very limited visitation. Two weeks ago, the court gave custody of the children back to Kelly. One of the injuries her son incurred is CVI (cortical vision impairment). As a result, lights really fascinate him. What a wonderful Christmas it would be for Kelly and her two children to experience the lights at Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Now that God has given Kelly her children back, it’s time to start making beautiful memories.

  • Staci says:

Wow Moni, hands down this is one of your best! So much freedom and truth if only people would turn towards Him.

  • Kimberly says:

Wow. It couldn’t be said any better! Thank you for the review of this show and the connection to the spiritual realm . We allow our minds to be polluted by Hollywood and the music industry without giving it a second thought. There is a war for our minds and we need to wake up and realize it. Arming ourselves with the Word if God is our only line of defense. May God continue to bless you and the work that you do. I have only found you recently and am beyond grateful. Happy New Year.

Oh my Monica you opened my eyes . After watching half of this with my children – grown – they were so filled with anxiety and anger that they started a an ridiculous argument on Christmas afternoon that left me alone and wondering who they were. I knew in my heart that this movie was very bad . At least for them. You just said some powerful things . I have swept in this living 6 days – I saw it as a movie – they saw it as something else. And the worst part- I suggested it. But I am happy to say we never finished it

  • Victoria Andersen says:

I love your heart. Great article. And Happy New Year, Monica!

I feel like you would help me to answer questions I have and so desperately need to hear. You definitely shine with God’s love and knowledge. It is so hard to find ones like yourself to be surrounded by to just talk to. Keep shining! Lots of love! Sheri❤

  • Shawnbliss says:

And this is truth that trumps the worldly perceptions because you find yours in the Word. Thank you. Very well said

  • Peggy Sawyer says:

Talk about deep. People are scared of deep spiritual insight, but they’re not afraid to be drawn into Hollywood’s demonic world, because Satan has blinded them from the truth.
I applaud you and I thank God for your truthfulness.
My prayer for our society is that they will return to God, His Word, and realize that is the only Sword of which to battle with. I know, I’ve been there. The Lord is my Savior and anchor, and He holds! He is the only way!

  • Dickson says:

I like that ma’am thing – : ) – you Dear Girl are a prophet, in the true sense of the word, grateful God gave you the right stuff to speak the Truth that you do – too many of us out here don’t have the right stuff, either he stuff or she stuff to stand tall and say it – you are a gift to all within ear shot of wherever you are – keep it up. BTW, among other things, way cool that you give us more angles with which to see the glory of Mr. P as well – tell him and all the MM’er team hey.

  • Jbyrd says:

This may be your best yet. What a way to kick off a new year. A year which will be filled with love, blessings, peace and abundance from the only One. You have a gift and I’m so grateful that He has given you this platform. Love you!

  • Susan says:

Thanks. A friend recommended this and I’m so glad I didn’t even attempt.

  • Stacy Robinson says:

Just finished watching the movie and then read your post – excellent, Monica.

  • Tammie Smith says:

Thank you for expressing so beautifully the hidden message I heard with my heart but could not get into words. Every obstacle or challenge in life we enter “blindfolded”, not knowing where the path will lead. We must trust that still small voice calling us constantly with reckless love to listen for HIS voice.

  • Carol E. May says:

Amen!!! Wonderful word and meaning from God!!! Real stuff!

  • Keleada Davis says:

Ohmygosh a great piece for sure I definitely believe you hit it right on the head. Jesus is the light

  • Christina says:

Hi, my name is Christina. I don’t watch Cable, Netflix, or Movies that much anymore. But when my family wants to I will on occasion. So, today I watched Birdbox with them. Well, being a Christian I felt like I had a different take away from the movie. My step-dad said he thought it was about aliens. And I feel like it’s about the enemy and how he tries to deceive us and tries to rob us of the life God created us for. We have a choice in life to trust our loving Father and creator’s voice or the enemy’s. (For me I struggled with decifering between the voices. Thanks be to God, I now know and recognize the Lord’s voice.) Now, I wasn’t sure if I just saw it from this perspective because I’ve only recently become a believer in Christ. So, I turned to the internet to see if anyone else had a similar take away. That’s when I came across your article. I don’t normally respond to anything I read but I just wanted to say thank you for writing this. It’s very brave if you to speak out about it. I truly believe this is the underlying truth behind Birdbox. God bless you. Happy New Year.

  • Wendy Gould says:

Hey Monica… excellent article. I won’t watch the movie, but liked what you had to say above. And, by the way, it’s a great picture of you above.
    xox

  • This is the first time i have heard of you or read one of your pieces. I just watched the Birdbox last week. It was an interesting piece. I agree with all of your statements. Especially, “Let those who have eyes to see, see and ears to hear, hear.”…People today are being seduced without even realizing it. I often say to myself, “Why can’t they see that? How can they think that?” Your expose brings to light a cancer that has infected society. I look forward to reading more of your articles in the future.

  • Crazebeautiful7877@gmail.com says:

So glad I read this, its truly inspiring thank you

  • Joan proescher says:

    Just watched Bird Box.
Not sure I follow your thinking on that movie! Evil/Satan appears in
many ways and draws us in.
Is that your take on this movie?
Read your email posted on Jan 1
But not sure I understood what you were saying. Please help!!

    • Monica Matthews says:

      Hi Joe,

I’m not sure how much more comprehensive I can be with regard to my ‘take’ on this movie. In simple terms, evil is real. It’s not a conspiracy. The spirit realm in which it exists infiltrates God’s prized creation (us) through many mediums including but limited to, our fears, hopes, desires, grief etc.. it is a kingdom war we fight, unseen. I’m not offering a different gospel on the matter. Hope that helps.

  • Jacob says:

Hi Monica, I am also very sensitive to these kind of things due to previous experiences and have to be very careful what i watch or let into my mind. This article really resonated with me, and how I felt about it also. For me, it boiled down to walking by faith and not by sight. She was told there was a sanctuary down the river. She couldn’t see it, and didn’t know who this guy on the radio was. In faith, she took the plunge and trusted the safe havens instructions and blindly at that. The voices are all the distractions and empty solitons of the world. Aka the enemy. They speak empty promises, and clamor to fulfill our want of instant gratification. We have to listen to the still small voice to make it. No matter that the world shouts in our physical ear.

  • Jorge says:

    You left me speechless
I watched this movie this past weekend, only difference is I didn’t watch it with Spiritual eyes as you did.
Your analogy and comparisons are spot on. So true about when she kept calling the girl, saying listen to my voice. Yes, we need to listen to and heed our Lord’s voice, but as you beautifully put…. how can we know HIS voice if we don’t read HIS Word.

    Jorge

  • Denise Presley says:

I just finished reading this and now I want to see Bird Box. I had no desire to watch it until now. I want to see it and make these spiritual connections. Thank you for your insight. God bless you.

  • monte says:

Thanks for giving a heads up on The Bird Box. I like Sandra Bullock’s acting so starring her in the movie was a good lure for getting viewers to go see it. Being a crime victim, I struggle against fear and prefer to avoid anything that stimulates it. Evil is all too real and there is enough of it in the world. We don’t need to promote it further. There are many wonderful, true stories about lives that have been changed for the better. Wouldn’t it be nice if cinema artists would put their talents to better use by producing uplifting movies?

  • Kari says:

I just watched this last night, having no prior knowledge of what it was about… and you hit the nail on the head! I am a believer, and I wasn’t as disturbed at the movie as much as I was saddened, knowing that the world already is like this – as you said. It really makes you take stock of your own beliefs and who we are REALLY listening to?
This was very well written! I loved your analogies. Thank you for your boldness to tell it like it is.

  • Pam B says:

I didn’t watch the movie but I cried as I read your description of this generation. It was so spot on! I am so afraid that we have created a mess that we cannot clean up. I do know that if we humble ourselves and turn to Him that God can and will correct our mistakes because His word says so. After reading your post, I am glad that I decided to forego this movie!

  • Janie harding says:

Excellent!!! Thank you!! My daughter teaches n has had children in her class watch it. So disturbing…

  • Richard says:

thanks Monica for your discussion of the Lt. Gov race – I found David Shafer to be a great candidate and hopefully our future Lt. Gov – my asterisk goes to Geoff Duncan – I resented the manner of his campaign – and yes, the dark money

  • May God bless You abundantly for taking the time open our eyes. This piece you have written is beautiful, extremely insightful, and very necessary. You have gained a new follower, can’t wait to more of You’re a little very masterpieces. Let the lord continue to use you.

  • Frank Jones says:

Are you going to tell Congress that the reason you were banned before is because you called for a men’s castration.

    • Monica Matthews says:

      Yes.
I would. If we are going to argue the nature of pleasure as it relates to offending Muhammad, I merely submitted fair is fair. A little girl’s clitoris should never be subjected to a vile culture of oppression. Esp in my country. A sitting congresswoman calling for it, should be unseated. If you’re defending his nature, you should get off my page and contact him.

  • Sam Pickren says:

Just tell me how to help. I was surprised William Ligon made the roll call. I am literally sick of Reps & Senators who attain office by the will of the people. Of course, there are photo ops and the likes that seem to fulfill in their minds actually doing the people’s business – NOT their own.

  • Sue Surdi says:

This is a very sad situation and Georgians should not be caught in the middle. Please continue using your voice to shine a light on this complex issue.

Amanda, I could never imagine the pain you and other victims hold. Someday, may our State overcome the extreme disappointment you each have in our Georgia court system. Please continue encouraging other victims to share your stories as far and wide as possible, as soon as you can.

And thank Mr. P for making a difference as well. best to all of the team in Him

  • Jean Laino says:

Has Hannity weighed in on the Judge Jeanine debacle ?

  • Dan Rutz says:

Monica, I would only add that His work, including His miracles most often take place by the hands of His children. To the extent that prayer fuels action, including true compassion, His will prevails. Those, however, who hide behind their silent and secret engagements with Him need be reminded that effective communication, including prayer, involves both speaking and listening. The feedback God gives will inspire the tangible steps so needed to offset the Left’s heavy handedness, distortions, and callousness. Yes, Monica, words matter but not as much when they remain unspoken. Thank You.

  • Chris says:

Monica you really are the best. Luv your shows and how you say it like it is!! Stay strong and I hope we hear lots more from you and your lovely daughter. Girl…you done good raising such a well spoken intelligent girl. You make quite a team!! God bless and keep you safe!!

  • Diana A Franco says:

I only got to watch about 5 minutes of this movie because they do scare me. I have had encounters with evil spirits and it was only my claim to the blood of christ that drove them away. I do believe that horror movies open doors to our homes and lives. I loved reading this I can very much relate to your opening paragraphs. There are some people even fellow sisters and brothers who think I exaggerate. Thank you, I felt understood and I can very much relate to this post. God bless.

  • Bill Bosworth says:

So I start off neutral. Many people start with distrust and may miss out on opportunities for relationships. Others start with trust and can wind up disappointed. Agree time and experience prove one way or the other.

  • Terry Adams says:

Yes, a lot of “jealousy” involved, but I think the good heart of we Americans has been our Achilles Heel. We want to do what is right and unfortunately we were manipulated into believing that our entire existence is based on RIGHTS. We accepted the degradation of our society because it was believed that we must uphold “rights” at all costs — we threw away our culture, morals, values, traditions and commonly held beliefs because we were manipulated into believing that an individual’s “right” to something outweighs even our nation in its entirety. Insanity, but we fell for it.

And so we’re now a nation with no sense of purpose and just wandering aimlessly while awaiting another decision by a court that will require us to tear down what little is left in the name of upholding someone’s latest “right” to something.

  • Christina says:

Beautiful. Raw. Vulnerable. Thank you for sharing. I have heard you a few times on the radio and really like you. I have started a blog myself and want to get into the blogging world. I chose you to be one of the few blogs that I start to follow.

  • Ashford Schwall says:

    Hi Monica,
A bit of clarification. Many of us don’t “Want Ralston so bad” and “with you” on this.
However, the reality is a Ga GOP resolution would have been a futile waste of time. There are only 2 ways to get him to step down and we have no control of either. 1. His district can vote him out. 2. The Ga House of representatives can vote him out of the speaker position.

Come visit the 11th District at our 5th Annual 11th District GOP Marksmanship Event and BBQ Reception Hosted by Adventure Outdoors, Friday August 16th
Ashford Schwall Vice Chairman 11th Dist Events
Taryn Bowman Vice Chairman 11th Dist Fund Raising

    Thanks, -ASH

    • Bill Beahan says:

Sitting literally in the seat next to the Gilmer County Ralston cult was enlightening. The establishment swamp monsters who fought the change to the Resolutions rule had only 1 reason for their dirty tactics and lies: protect Ralston at all costs!

  • Patti Chandler says:

Monica we missed hearing you this morning while we were getting ready for church. Are you gone for good from that time slot? Love your show.

    • Monica Matthews says:

Hi Patti! Thank you! I am gone from that slot for good. I hope you can still catch me at noon-2 or if you miss it you can always find broadcasts here or wsbradio.com or iTunes and stitcher and you can listen whenever you choose! xoxo

  • Hello Monica. It was quite refreshing to see how much you have evolved in understanding the gaslighting of Victims and Survivors that I attempted to convey when you graciously allowed me to share my experience advocating for this Legislation as one of the initial Citizen Coalitions. I can see your authentic frustration and unbiased party politics willing to now hold Casey Cagle accountable. I ran across this by accident and have now plan spread it to my 300,000 plus Supporter Coalition linked to the national advocacy of the Trump enthusiast that have embraced my story from GA and appreciative of being told the truths of Cast System and Backroom deals to sabotage progress for survivors. All my best to you and your lovely daughter.

  • Bill Bosworth says:

Do what makes you feel good but you are still a dynamic woman

  • Peter Alden says:

Wow! What a great article. Personally, I like more full figured women. As the saying goes “who wants to hug a stick??” But I can tell you that these are some of the same kind of thoughts that some men have as well. I know I do sometimes. As you stated, why is it that heavier people are looked at as being somehow “undisciplined” in their lives?! I know, as my little boys caregiver for the last 17 months of his life, I was not concerned about what I ate, or whether I had that perfect “V” look. To your point, making sure he was OK was more important to me than ‘making sure I got to the gym’ or ‘watching carbs’. So many people are going through things that we don’t have any clue about. It’s sad how judgmental we have become as a society! Again, thanks for a wonderful article, so encouraging! I will be sharing this with a few people I know who need to read your thoughts. Now, back to WSB! 🙂

I recall a story about Arianna Grande doing the same thing in a donut shop in 2015, followed by a rather insincere apology !

  • “The Emperor’s New Clothes” is what I’ve been preaching against, no matter the cost! The Republicans set my people free from slavery, yet the death of 660k and citizenship doesn’t seem to be enough for those who want more than the Constitution guarantees. Special Constitutional Rights to illegals, LGBTXYZ etc. Thank you for these words of encouragement. This article is an answer to prayer as the magnitude of hypocrisy is overwhelmingly criminal to the core. GOD Bless

  • Jackie says:

Bless you Monica. I appreciate you bringing us the truth.

Thanks Monica I’ve just posted to my LinkedIn account.

  • Sam McMillan says:

I want to know what I can do.

  • Denean says:

I love this episode! Thank you. Monica! I have taken your advice to pray for my enemies and I know for sure that am not alone. Your point about the importance of getting down in the trenches and carrying each others’ burdens is so true. In the days of Facebook, unfortunately, it seems as though getting down in the trenches is affiliated with the action of tapping on a thumb symbol. The good news is, I have friends who are real and cry. Pray and laugh with me about the situatiom my family is in. If I were 15 years younger and going through the same thing as I am now, I am sure that I would feel quite isolated being liked with thumbs instead of hugged by arms.

  • Philip says:

If only people would listen to you Monica. We are so fortunate to have you on our side. God bless you and and help us to rid this country of these scumbags.

  • Stephen Hamilton says:

So interesting how 2 of your callers pretty much made your point about the RAS and their own biases. You handled it with grace. I’ve been saying for so long that my white privilege is that I grew up never being told told that I didn’t stand a chance in the world, never being told that cops, or another race hated me or were holding me down. Agree it’s a problem of the heart and brain. Love your show but always have to catch it on Sticher or your website. Still hoping you’ll join us for the REACH Dinner.

  • Dan says:

Mayor Bottoms has been a total disaster for Atlanta. From being weak of crime (closing the jail) to her lack of authenticity and transparency. Atlanta simply cannot afford for her to be re-elected. We need a very strong candidate to run against her in the next election and bring some much needed new ideas to city hall. Not to mention, someone who can actually be a leader.

  • I actually live in Atlanta says:

There’s millennial hipsters freely walking around in every part of Atlanta. Any person who has been there thinks you’re cowering over a few random homeless crimes. There’s neighborhoods you shouldn’t go everywhere.

    • Monica Matthews says:

I live in Atlanta too. For life. Having access to police reports not known to the public affords you a reality pill most young people would not be able to handle. Not a bad thing, sometimes ignorance is bliss. Thanks for reaching out

Thank you for this. A holy spirit filled outlook on our nation’s current politics. A lot of young people are waking up (I’m 28). Keep talking, we are listening!

First sorry for your loss in-laws can be out-laws I had in-laws in my first marriage I couldn’t get along with they didn’t like me and I didn’t like them we were young when me and my first wife got married so it didn’t last long I got a beautiful daughter and granddaughter out of it so I’m so grateful for them but when I married my second wife it was totally different I got along great with all my in-laws so I don’t really know what the difference was but I guess it wasn’t meant to be

  • Victoria Ashley Leighton says:

My condilence for your loss. My former Father-In-Law had also served in Vietnam but he died years before I met his son. My(now late)former husband was so proud of his dad and I’m grateful that his sense of patriotism has also passed along to our college age daughters both of whom now serving in the National Guard. I re-married soon after my former husband’s passed but recently widowed again after 3 years into our marriage. My daughters continue to be my support on this new journey of mine and I look forward to explore my new chapter with hope and excitement.

    All the best.

If a sin is unforgivable, it’s all on our side. If I hold unforgiveness in my heart, it’s a choice I make the creates a barrier between myself and God as well as as the person I am not forgiving. God honors our choices and the consequences of those choices. The good news is that we can, with God’s grace, choose to forgive. God is ALWAYS forgiving us..we bring judgement on ourselves.

  • Troy Teixeira says:

You’re point in the Podcast about being accused of a DUI while being a non-drinker is a perfect comparison to what Democrats have done by accusing Trump of all these absolutely ridiculous things. Keep up the great work!

  • Bill Bosoworth says:

Don’t forget the bait. They thought the investigations and all of the lying would eventually draw
Trump out. It did not. They thought if they pushed him enough he would step on his own toes. He has not. They thought with enough trashing him and baiting him that his followers would leave and his advisors would quit. They have not. They really thought they had the right bait but methinks with the Durham investigation they will find they have hooked their own pants.

  • Scott says:

Monica, I didn’t think Mitch had it in him..I think he realizes that the Congress is not bigger than the will of the American people and there is no way he would get reelected..I am a conservative not a republican, and Dimmit and the rest of the Republicans need to get the hell out of the way

  • Troy Teixeira says:

Another great Podcast. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

  • Robin says:

“It is the ultimate choice. It’s simply, a choice. A single act of selfless pursuit of someone else’s desires without compromising the base values of yours.”

My feelings exactly – I have always said mature love, is a choice. I choose to love. It’s liberating. Being someone who is older than you, and yet have not had sustained love for more than a few years at a time, I know what it’s like to live alone with a daughter and look for those dancing flames. They’re there. As you say, Love is broader than the narrow youthful view. It encompasses so much more. For me to sustain intimate Love, companionship is key. They intertwine, and weave a fabric of resilient bonds. Everything is better when wrapped in the garment you’ve made together. I’ve had that special fabric. Hope Springs Eternal that it’s just around the corner, once again 🙂

  • George Brownlee says:

    Monica:

I just listened to you and your daughter’s podcast on What Women REALY Want from Sex. It was quite revealing in more ways than one. From it, I now realize you are dating someone. It should not come as a surprise to me that an attractive renaissance woman such as yourself is highly coveted. In regard to the content of the podcast, I too believe today’s change in gender roles has impacted life in the bedroom. Yet it’s more than just that. As I alluded to in my last message about a month ago, men are not taught how to be men. When magazines like GQ now focus on men being metrosexuals and people refer to themselves as sapiosexual (yes, it’s an actual word), it’s amazing the world has grown to over 7 billion people. But don’t worry if you ever do meet me you’ll find out I’m not only a nice guy, I’m all man and still leaning to the hyper-masculine side of the scale.

    Happy New Year!

    George

    Lies, red flag podcast
Have I ever told a lie? Yes
What is your take on disclosure? Leaving out a piece of information to keep the peace. Been married for 42 years. Had worked for me.
Men tend to think with the wrong head, no excuses because we tend live for the moment.
Just signed up got your podcast. Heard you when filling in for Sean Hannity.

    • Monica Matthews says:

      Hi Chris,
Disclosure. Hm. Well, most women (and men) will tell you omission counts toward the lie column. I always preface my responses with it depends on your relationship. You know your spouse better than anyone. Hopefully. Honesty is always the best policy. It’s the beginning of true partnership and trust. I figure, at least if I’m honest, I’ve given you a fair shake at deciding whether to forgive, stay, move past it or part ways because of said infraction. If we’re talking infidelity, that comes with its own bag of tricks that makes it very difficult for both parties to move forward once it’s disclosed, but they can. And many do. It takes an enormous effort of even more honesty and humility for folks to heal from that. Notice I didn’t say shove it under the rug. But heal. Together. It CAN be done, but very personal to both parties. Keeping secrets weighs heavy on the heart and body. It takes up space on our energy bandwidth. It just does. I think that’s why Scripture teaches us to confess our faults one to another that we may be ‘healed’. (exact words KJV) The repercussions of loss of trust, intimacy, partnership, respect etc.. is a risk you take when confessing anything. My take on that is simply this, if because I exercised my humanity in both falling and confessing someone decides their heart isn’t deep or wide enough to forgive and love me through it, I’m better off without them. It doesn’t make them a horrific person, Jesus knew adultery would be a difficult hurdle to cross and gave permission to divorce because of it, but he also commands us to forgive in the process. At some point, the truth always surfaces whether we are on top of the dirt or below it. Our sins find us out. They just do. Better to have taken responsibility while on the topside. Hope that helps.. 🙂

  • John R says:

Amen nothing more important than physical intimacy, Love, lust, sex, both spontaneous or well planned. It is a pinnacle of a relationship. Granted there is more to life than sex but when your loved one no longer finds you appealing or is TOO BUSY on Facebook or such to be intimate (EITHER SEX) in any way there is a problem. Yes it can be recovered, but will take a longer time then the first time you lied eyes on eachother because the trust is broke, the passion is GONE and thrown away and too often it is easier to say IM TOO TIRED than to express that love intimately. GOD BLESS

  • Nya Major says:

Great article. I personally believe it’s a systemic issue. Women primarily learn the art of sensuality from their mothers; in lieu of that, we learn from entertainment, music, movies, our female idols on tv. There’s been a generational breakdown of sexual morality that always creates discontent…

  • George says:

I personally believe that something happens to women not only mentally but physically after menopause I know my wife and I have been married for over a third of a century but it definitely changes the I love yous, less frequent she doesn’t look at me the same way she used to but that’s okay and I’m okay with that because you know what if I didn’t love her then I wouldn’t be with her so I’m okay with that thank you Monica Matthews for putting this out here it’s a discussion that has to be had God bless your friend George

    • Monica Matthews says:

undeniable. menopause changes everything. BUT it doesn’t have to. We have also been conditioned to accept it and even be afraid of the natural hormones our bodies once produced to make us the sexual beasts we are. She doesn’t look at you the same way because she doesn’t look at anything the same way. It’s literally the invasion of the body snatcher. Seriously. But women can and must take their sexual/limbic health into their own hands. Otherwise it becoemes an excuse and crutch that men are simply relegated to saying yes to a life o celibacy unnecessary. Hugs George!

  • DJ says:

Hi monica love u and your show

  • RC says:

I heard on the Larry Elder show (a nationally syndicated show based in Los Angeles) a clip of a local newscast of an ‘urban outdoors man (Neal Boortz-ism for homeless dude) who ambush dunked a woman with a bucket of fresh hot – waaaait for it – diarrhea. Of course among other things she needs to be tested every 1-3 weeks for infectious diseases

  • R.C. Kim says:

10+ years ago I was at the RaceTrac (which for some reason is now a BP) on the South Loop 120 in Marietta. Some dude who was obviously homeless started charging at me like a bull or linebacker from 8-11 feet, which was enough time and distance for me to bust into my car and slam and lock my door, which I of course did. However, if I remember correctly I swung some 4-7 ft. hard object toward him as a “bug off, creep!” gesture

  • R.C. Kim says:

About 6-7 years ago I was parked at the shopping center on Peachtree Road (which I call lower Buckhead upper midtown) next door to the BP and 2 short blocks from Varasano’s Pizzeria, where I would have lunch a few minutes later. I spotted from 11-17 feet a cretinous looking chap who probably was homeless (which became a justified supposition) starting toward me. I quickly adapted into body language that said “bug off creep!’ but he didn’t take the hint and kept moving towards me. I could have blown him off and avoided engaging, but I decided to at least hear him out. So he said to me something to the effect of ‘hey buddy ahm a (homeless) bum from Alabama, can you get me sumpin to eat?’
I then I very pointedly asked him if he would like to possibly work, to which he said ‘Ah just wanna eat.’
Again I pointedly replied that if he doesn’t work he doesn’t make money and nothing follows from that, to which he said nothing more, shrugged his shoulders and walked away.
Had he been interested in working I would have treated him to lunch at Varasano’s (I ended up eating alone), give him a spiel about pulling up stakes to North Dakota and just getting grunt work on the Bakken formation fracking project (I’m sure you know fracking is short for horizontal fractional drilling)

  • R.C. Kim says:

I remember several years hearing The Talkmaster discussing a carjacking at a gas station on Gresham Road in DeKalb County off I-20, and he wryly quipped that if you go to that station when it’s dark you might as well be wearing a “kick me!” sign because then it’s car jack city, that could be applicable to any gas station off ITP I-20 or off or close to the south perm

Thank you Monica. I so enjoyed your breakdown of President Trump’s speech at the prayer breakfast. This is the first time I listened to you. Found you via wsb radio in Atlanta. I’ll be sure to go to Twitter to read more.

  • RC Kim says:

I meant to tell you much sooner, but as a classical music junkie (it’s a lonely club because it’s hard to find people who share that passion, because 3-4 generations of Americans have not been socialized to enjoy classical music and Old Master art, i.e., Titian, Peter Paul Rubens, Rembrandt, etc.), I really appreciate you sharing your Atlanta Symphony experience, and I heartily agree that more children in K-12, especially in APS, could use a healthy dose of exposure to the kind of fine arts I mentioned parenthetically. Alas, nobody has taken up the mantle of Leonard Bernstein, who in addition to being a composer and conductor had a TV show introducing young people to classical music

I absolutely love your writings. I agree, only when you accept God as your Father, do you truly experience the love of God. From my personal studies, I’ve found that our Feminist culture purposely degrades men, to make us degrade fathers; and all of this is designed to separate you from God the Father.

  • RC Kim says:

I get a near daily helping of the Larry Elder show and he regularly posits that there is an Axis of Indoctrination, which consists of popular entertainment/culture, education -‘ejumahkayshin’ in my terminology, which for the longest time has been corrupted with discreditable Euro-socialist influences, is increasingly more perverted and seeping down to the pre-K level – and a corrupt power hungry ‘gooberment’ for which the two previous concepts are handmaids. However, the real problem is roughly just over half of Americans veg out on the ‘boob tube,’ place overinflated value on higher ‘ejumahkayshin,’ and that may be why the LGBTQXYZ is getting cool, and (separate different concept) why so many are caught in the Wuhan virus (let’s just call it what it is) hype and hysteria

Reaching Out at a Time of Need – My Father’s World — Two FREE activity packs for quarantined families

So much has changed in our world in the past few weeks. We all feel the effects. But we have hope. We know that God is with us. He speaks often in His Word – “Do not fear” and “I will be with you always.” As His children, this is our time to deeply abide in Him and let His light shine as we pray to the King and wait to see what He will do.

During these difficult and unpredictable times, we want to reaffirm our commitment to you and your family. We are open and will continue to serve the nations while practicing all the recommendations to keep the virus from spreading.

Our mission is to encourage, equip and serve families in the Lord, so that they can encourage, equip and serve others. With this in mind, we are asking you to join us on this mission. To help families impacted by the current global crisis, My Father’s World will be extending our current discounts for the foreseeable future. As you communicate with friends, family, and neighbors who seek direction during this time, please remember that My Father’s World is here to serve.

We see an unprecedented opportunity to, “Love our neighbors as ourselves” and want to support, equip and help you to seize this unparalleled time in history. Never before have families been faced with the challenges of rethinking education for their children. We have redesigned our home page and are making available two free activity packs for your friends, family, and neighbors at no charge: check it out – http://www.mfwbooks.com and help us spread the word. These are designed with family, fun and interaction in mind. We hope these resources will help families focus on the truly important things of life – God, togetherness and education as a family.

    You can remind your friends:
    1. They don’t need to be a teacher to homeschool.
    2. Homeschooling is structured educational enrichment and anything they buy now can be used even if they go back to school.
    3. Flexibility is a benefit of homeschooling so anyone can start right now!

We are already hearing of homeschool families inviting others to join their homeschool (let them start where you are), offering to share resources, or reaching out to them via social platforms to help them educate and entertain their kids.

My Father’s World sees this as a great way to build and strengthen relationships and prepare the way for the Gospel!

Thank you again for allowing My Father’s World the great privilege to serve your family and may God bless you as you seek to serve others!

We appreciate your continued prayers as we also continue to pray for you.

    For His Kingdom,
    David and Marie Hazell
    My Father’s World

Dennis Prager, a Los Angeles-based talk show host who ranks along with you as one of my go-to’s, has this great pithy dictum: the bigger the government, the smaller the citizen.

  • RC Kim says:

This isn’t a come-on for a date, but you are just incredibly cute as all heck, with a voice, wit and a sense of humor to match, and even though it was almost a year since I played and replayed this particular episode multiple times your hilarious infectious giggle is seared in my memory, and I routinely daydream of a bobblehead of YOU as St. Paul in the typical get-up of his day and carrying a broad sword by the hilt with the blade tip touching the ground. Actually there are at least 5-8 pictures of your facial expressions that are eminently bobblehead material

  • Garrett Nagle says:

I’m an elderly gentleman and your correct in one way I feel, the rubber band of equality has been stretched to far and has different meanings due to an overexposed society full of sensationalism without moral goals. ..The fact women go through menopause they lost the estrogen and the above paragraph states why divorce happens often as the sexual desires changed possibly for their same sex offend… . Monica, I really like your point of view. I was going to use the word ‘spin’ but my impression is you are sincere, not putting out a spin just to support your ideas. Yes, I too find myself thinking like Ms. Perez. But to go one sp further, you give a really positive-good perspective. Something I can take home and apply.

  • fred w Mason says:

Monica, I agree with you a LOT but to say this man was trying to get AWAY?? is just not what you see on the video, he darted around the truck and attacked the younger man trying to wrestle the gun from his hands, That is NOT trying to get away, No the McMilan’s should not have tried to apprehend him BUT If someone attacks YOU as he DID to get the gun away,, IF they get it GUESS WHO gets shot!!!

  • RC Kim says:

I just realized you were playing bits of Symphony #1 by Johannes Brahms. All 4 movements conjure up in my mind Alpine (whether Swiss, Austrian or south German) visuals, the 1st movement the opening bars get me thinking of a blustery snowstorm on a mountain peak or range then a calming down at dusk, the 2nd is Bambi, Thumper and friends frolicking in a warm spring day in the woods, whether in the famous Disney animation or in live action, the 3rd is a guy blowing an alpenhorn (maybe the largest non-keyboard instrument in the world) as the sun rises, then finally a villagers’ procession to church, whether a regular Sunday or Christmas, Easter, Annunciation Day, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Corpus Christi, Pentecost, etc.

  • C.A. says:

Monica, Last week I took down my facebook page forever…Apparently because I did not post a black square to my account – my former boss from a large insurance company decided that I was a racist and told me to never use her as a job reference ever again. I am white and she is also white. The persecution of “non-believers” has already begun in this country..but Monica – I want to know – How do we know that we are at a tipping point in this country? because I feel like we are very very close right now to outright persecution. How do we know? Is it when they decide to blow up Stone Mountain because it is “racist”? Is it when my home is confiscated by the government because I have “white privilege”? I think you and I and everyone else honestly knows the answer – It is when the next democrat is elected president. We are deluding ourselves if we do not think there will be reparations, maybe our property and homes will be “redistributed”, maybe us non believers will be sent to “reeducation camps”? I am asking this because I am a fighter – one who believes in standing up for my principles and those of the Bible and God, but I also know when I am in a fight that cannot be won. There are already too many people drinking the kool aid in this country right now…So When we get to that tipping point, is it time to leave this country? and if so, where do we go?

  • Daryel Jernigan says:

I cannot agree with you more!
You are correct in where the United States is headed, and FAST!
I’m having to be more vocal now, then ever before.

You see I am a big, black man, and everyone I encounter, assumes that I am ‘afraid’ of the police, and support Black Lives Matters.
They can’t be further from the truth, and they seem genuinely surprised, when I say that I don’t!
Keep on preaching the truth, from where you are, and I’ll keep smashing stereotypes from where I am!

I sure as H-e-double hockey sticks hope Shane Hazel doesn’t do what LibTARD-FARTarian Rob Sarvis did in 2 recent races in Virginia: he cost GOP Governor Bob Goodlatte reelection then 2-4 years later bled votes away from the GOP Senate candidate – Bruce Allen? Oh, & BTW, ‘reverend’ Raphael the Warlock Warnock (for whom Atlanta’s WNBA team pimps at home games) parrots the old Jimmy Carter saw that Israel is an ‘apartheid state’

  • RC Kim says:

More ‘reverend’ Raphael the Warlock Warnock news – or is it really? – big fan of, and not inconceivably buddy-buddy with eternal dictator – aren’t all dictators eternal? – Fidel Castro. As Gomer Pyle would say, suh-prahz, suh-prahz, suh-prahz! Also, in a recent interview, when asked about court packing and statehood for DC and Puerto Rico, The Warlock who thinks he’s a pastor just threw a classic LefTARD smoke screen and dismissed them as attempts to divide the country. That toothpaste is already out of the tube. When the country has one group of people who believe in free enterprise and limited government and another in womb to tomb socialism, the prospect of unity is just preposterous and ridiculous

  • RC Kim says:

More Warlock who thinks he’s a pastor and wants to be Senator red meat – he said loud and proud that America must atone for supporting ‘whiteness’, i.e., electing The Donald President. Just on the face of it, shouldn’t it give even some white guilt libtards some pause?

It is a must-listen.

  • DeNean Breed says:

  • Linda Zvonar says:

Wonderful podcast. Made me feel much better about what is going on and very thankful for you and your always uplifting messages

  • RC Kim says:

The white Christian male – and by large extension Western Civilization – has been the target of a relentless ‘drip-drip-drip’ rhetorical assault, which filthy rich white guilt dupes are at the forefront of. Yet if there was no Christianity, there would be no movable type printing press, steam engine, the general harnessing of electricity and all the other things that followed. If the whole world were just Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim and tribal animist and spirit worshipping, history would just be circular instead of linear, i.e., one decade, century and millennium would just look like the next and next

  • RC Kim says:

As rank and corrupt as the election process may be, what could be the real underlying problem is that ‘ejumuhkayshun’ is steadily degrading into rot-gut indoctrination which flows into pop culture that holds sway over way too much of our population.
The Professorate Mafia – most notably Noam Chomsky and the late Howard Zinn of MIT – may be at the forefront of the white guilt/Western Civilization sucks movement and, hand in hand with TV/pop culture, have gulled at least 3-4 generations of young skulls full of mush to vote Dumfqrat and the retarded policy concepts they stand for, buy the whole BLM movement and swallow the notion that the music of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven and company is not superior to African and American Indian ‘ooga booga’/’oba-yeh-oba’ chants and dances and music played on Indonesian gamelans and Australian dijiridoos

  • RC Kim says:

The whole unholy alliance of ‘ejumuhkayshun’ and pop culture/TV enabled the recent 8-year Obama coup d’etat of America and continuously enables the ACCEPTANCE – beyond the tolerance – of the whole LGBTQ-XYZPDQ agenda and race hustlers like Al not at all Sharpton, Jesse HIJACKson, Screwy Calypso Louie FarraCONMAN, Jeremiah WRONG, and Warnock The Warlock who sell so many black folks the notion that Da (white) Man tryin’ to keep y’all down as these race pimps are themselves filthy rich, when the real underlier of dysfunction in the black community is lack of fathers in the home

  • Brian l says:

Monica thank you for fighting the good fight & keeping us informed. We can’t let these socialists take over.

  • RC Kim says:

On the Senatorial so-called debate, Warnock the Warlock completely dodged a direct question about court packing and went off on a major tangent talking about something totally unrelated. However somewhere along the way he said something to the effect that the ‘American people’ don’t care about that kind of stuff and dismissed court packing as a mere parlor game only politicians care about. Well, the TV and pop-culture-addled Low Information Nationers who don’t grasp the concept that taxes like $#!+ roll down hill and more domestic drilling means less reliance on raghead terrorist financiers may not care about court packing, but ignoranuses are the political lifeblood of the Dumfqrats, for whom an INFORMED populace is kryptonite

  • RC Kim says:

Just like Warnock the Warlock, COMMIEla CONJOBala Harris, during the VEEP debate, talked about something ABE LINCOLN did when asked about court packing, and she gave another impertinent non-answer about President Trump not having any blacks as cabinet members and/or circuit judges

8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

Monica, this was perfect timing. You saved me from much despair. I had finished listening to my pastor this morning say to forget about the elections because our only home is in Heaven. Earlier in the week at a Bible study, I was told not to talk anything about the elections or the upheaval going on in our Country when I told the leaders that I was spiritually affected by it and was not my usual happy self. After today’s service, I went back to bed because, frankly, I was demotivated and depressed about what’s happening at my church and the lack of support for parishioners like me.

Then, I heard you in your podcast today. Thank you, thank you! You said what my soul needed to hear. My soul is now replenished and my spirit is renewed to fight more days for our amazing Country!

    Hi Monica,

I am a consulting geophysicist in Wichita, KS, and I served 6 years in the Kansas House of Representatives, the last 4 of which I was Chairman of the Energy & Environment Committee.

We fought off the mandates that caused electricity rates to increase 50% in 9 years–brought the Utilities to the table, and brought to light the fraud behind wind energy. Made it as free market as we could, but the Evergy’s just could not stop themselves, continuing to rape the ratepayers. I digress.

We need to get the President back in charge, or we will certainly be doomed as a free Republic. Lin Wood pointed me to you, so to him I am very grateful.

If there is any way I can help you, just let me know.

    God Bless You Monica

Lin handled it far better than I ever would I guarantee you that. As I was listening to all the lies being told to that law class my blood was for sure boiling!! Makes you wander what is being said and taught at every college in America. Granted I hadn’t been to college now in twenty some odd years, I did think some of my professors had some sense. There were a few especially in the early years that I couldn’t stand some of my professors, but as I got into my last years I did get to learn from real people not real professors. If I had one besmirching someone with their name on a building or classroom near us, there’s no way I would agree with that! Those students were as hateful, if not more, than the professor, at least the ones speaking up. I’m happy for Lin that he handled it with such grace…. If they are smart they’d offer him an apology, give his money back and leave his name on the thing. Otherwise, he may end up owning a law school…

Well stated Monica. Your words are most encouraging, Glad I found your website. My two favorite Psalms for comfort amidst the trials and challenges before us are Psalm 37,46 and 94. One of the greatest verses for comfort and encouragement comes from Psalm 46. “Be Still(or cease striving) and know that I am God. One final verse I’d like to mention is from Joshua 1:9- ” Have I not commanded you to be strong and courageous ? Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord, your God is with you wherever you go”. The enemy is fearful of Christians who are steadfast and tenacious in standing firm on God’s word and His promises. Great blessing to you Monica and may the Lord greatly use you as His instrument of Peace in the days ahead.

Either they shut off the audience reactions or they missed it entirely. I have been censored on social media and having to us [. ]. to separate letter to get around the algorithms. I see many post on my neighborhood platform ( Nextdoor) give warnings. I will soon be shut down there. Drs are being censored. This is communism 101 to stop the spread of TRUTH. I COMMENDED LIN WOOD FOR HIS CONTINUED FIGHT AND ALL THE PEOPLE SPEAKING OUT AND NOT ALLOWING THEM TO SHUT US UP. TRUTHERS ARE RELOCATING TO NEW PLATFORMS AND GETTING AWAY FROM THE DEEP STATE CENSORED CONTROLLED PLATFORMS. I have faith we will win this fight but what is frightening is how many people will be injured for life or die from the poison of Bill and Melinda Gates Vax. You can scream from roof tops to alert people of truth, yet sadly big tech healthcare and many of our institutions have gained peoples trust over the years and we are the ones whom are viewed crazy. I will stay in this fight like many others cuz if I can help one person see thru this illusion I have done what the good lord as of me.

Their close-mindedness and unwillingness to to listen to both sides of the story, even after Lin Woods’ response is alarming. And their goal is to be a lawyer? and perhaps, someday a judge? Scary.

  • Bill Chambers says:

    Monica, my Warrior Sista!
Your words stir my insides to their very depths!
Into my innermost being, where HIS SPIRIT resides.
I did cry today! And i shouted as loudly as I could to Adonai Yeshua to execute HIS JUSTICE, as only HE knows how, on behalf of our Republic. I put HIM in remembrance of HIS intimate participation in the establishment of this Nation, And
as Moses did, appealed to HIS Holy Nature, to act on America’s behalf and deliver U.S. from the evil in our midst!
My prayer for you Monica is that you stay strong and courageous, always knowing that your weakness is made STRONG in CHRIST!
    Shalom, Shalom!

  • Rich Zimmerman says:

    What’s our next move?
    I’m just an everyday joe.
There has to be lots of important patriots out there who are developing plans to defend ourselves from the democrat’s socialist agenda.
    What should we be doing?

    • Monica Matthews says:

      Hi Rich,
My call has been and continues to be to stand in the stillness of God and allow Him, to move through his Providence and legal process and procedure. Someone will have to have the courage to continue the legal battles in the courts and trust that our process is just and will prevail. I’ve warned folks about getting sucked into the current vacuum that serves to trap well meaning patriots who are ensnared by a spirit of fear and anger. This is not the time to fear or rise up in civil strife. As counter intuitive as it may seem or feel to patriots, the battle has already been won in the heavenlies and for those of us who understand Ephesians 6:12, we hear our Heavenly Father calling us to stand down in the physical. We need only to trust Him to work on all of America’s behalf through faith and all the laws this nation affords. we can’t engage in lawlessness and expect a good outcome. Engage in draining the GOP swamp locally and statewide. We still have a system and brittle party infrastructure in place to administer politics that preserve our constitution and way of life as FREE Americans. Hope this helps.

  • Simone Yan says:

I have sent a message to the State Bar. What they did is very much like CCP did to the Chinese people who have different opinions, thoughts and tell the truth. I admire Lin. He is a real man!

  • Jill Davies says:

    Lin,
Keep up the righteous fight! So much corruption!Telling the truth does have a cost. Maybe not to the degree you are experiencing, but loss of friends and family I do know for standing up. I will continue to pray for your
safety, comfort, peace of mind, strength and for God’s blessings as you fight for truth and justice. We the people are grateful to you. You have a bigger voice than what we alone would have! This is a big sacrifice for you as the enemy tries to destroy you. We are behind you our brother in Christ. ❤ Jill

  • Susan Agner says:

Thank you, Monica, for allowing Lin Wood to share his story. I am following Lin Wood’s persecution. I pray without ceasing. I am a 68 yr old grandmother in NC. My persecution is minor compared to what Lin is experiencing. I refuse to wear a mask. People have tried to mask shame me and even threatened to report me for not wearing a mask. Gives me practice trusting in God! God gives me peace through it all. We have a truly awesome God!

Great message…I am looking forward to reading your book…I am the quintessential old maid kept by the Prince of peace. it will be interesting to see how our experiences compare. We communicated on FB after I stumbled on your interview with Lin Wood… I am JemimaG on Telegram…best regards

  • Monica, thank you for opening up. We live in Katy, Tx… and I learned about you from Lin. And how wonderful for you to extend the opportunity for us to encourage him on your channel. I appreciated your experience and testimony very much.
I have been sober since 3-3-1987 and my testimony of God’s grace over my life is full of His grace, mercy and intercession! Thanks to my personal relationship with Jesus because if I depended on religion I’d probably focus on my “unworthiness.”
I am right there with you and Lin! The Mind of Christ and the renewing of our mind through God’s word, is priority. (My 12 step program was critical in accepting myself because if God made me as I am, and if HE knows me and accepts me—warts and all—I’m right where I’m supposed to be. I used to be really hard on myself for not focusing on filling them out but I came to peace and acceptance of who I am and that set me free from the bondage of self.
And I agree—and see through all of what’s going on. I am dealing with ulcerative colitis myself and my GI and functional medicine physicians have me on sulfa drugs, digestive enzymes, and I do all of the natural supplements to manage. I have the HLA-B27 genetic marker and have been dealing with pain for some time in both my hands but I am an artist and painter. And it’s definitely mind over matter at times but I trust He gave me my gifts to use—even though I, too, didn’t finish my BFA and left as a senior in Fine Art. We have to be true to ourselves because God wants us to be who He designed us to be… and it has been my experience by His promises, faithfulness and trusting in Him that we are carried by Him, from Glory to Glory. (I’ll share the link to my Carbonmade acct. so you can see what I do.) I am a Texan a few gens on part of my dad’s side and before that from LA and part from GA) but my mother’s side migrated from TN/AL/MS/ and Charleston/Beaufort before that so we are Southern, too.
BTW, I am very disappointed that Beth Moore has been beating up my President. I don’t understand it but a few of my cousins, too, are blinded from the enemy and they have thick scales over their eyes! All we can do is pray for them, Monica, because WHEN the truth hits them all between the eyes, you know that you know—they are all going to fall into utter shock! And guess what? They will have to repent of the discord they have sown between family members and friends… and you know what God’s word says about the teachers. That liability is weighted heavily… so pray for Beth and everyone who has been so misguided. Many cannot look at or hear what we have heard and accept the truth. But that’s not on us because we have tried to share the bits to lessen the blow! At least my husband Randy and I are paying attention and he at first thought I was making things up. I only wish I was.
I trust our President and I know that he hasn’t abandoned us. I also understand the bluffs and strategy—this is about life and death. And this is for our very survival. (As a teenager of 15 & 16 I attended survival camp in the San Juan’s and hiked from 9k’ to 15k’ – trekking 9 miles a day with 42 lbs on my back… which blessed me with a strong sense of survival instinct because of that—and patience is key. I am standing on Jeremiah 29:11 and I’m grateful to have listened to your humanness this evening, sister. I feel like I know your heart a bit more. Thank you for allowing us to walk a little bit on the holy ground of your life.
    Hugs and love, Paige

May God continue to bless and keep you both in the palms of His loving Hands.

In Jesus Holy Name I pray, Amen.

  • CRAIG FORNEY says:

Your word today filled me up. I admit that I’ve felt empty alot lately. You were spot on and thank you for being so generous.

  • Linda Moser says:

Monica, Thank you for the truth of the word. It is so refreshing to hear Gods word spoken by someone who is not afraid to expose there heart. We as Christians so many times spend a lot of time hiding our failures and areas of imperfection. We fear the judgement of our fellow Christians or the Church. Love cast’s out fear.

We are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God! Romans 3 tells us God can be depended upon totally! Everyone is guilty of sin. But God’s grace declares believers are not guilty by Faith. So yes Monica, tell it from the roof tops. There is no longer room for religious spirits in our Churches and Christian communities. Romans 3:21 says, “Therefore by the Law there be no flesh justified in his sight; for by the Law is the knowledge of sin. The word also says, “Judge not least you be judged.”

We need to be sensitive to the still small voice that speaks to our hearts. Today I was at the dentist. The dental hygienist is woman of color. God nudge me to speak to her. I opened the conversation with telling her I had sent a message to the White House about my ideas on bringing Unity to our nation. I told her that I had relayed that we needed to quit identifying ourselves as African Americans, White Americans, Asian Americans, Latino Americans or minority Americans. We are simply Americans. One Nation under God. She got a funny look on her face at first, but then I just said to her, “I don’t care what color you are, I love you.” That one little word, love, brought joy to her countanence. We were then able to exchange so ideas and insights.

As your message declared, listen to your heart. That is how God speaks to us with that still small voice.

Also, I too spent almost 30 years in Atlanta. After wondering around through several states, I am now a South Carolina transplant.

To address another item you mentioned; at the age of 46, I returned to college and graduated from UGA and became an Art teacher. It was never about a job, but was a calling and pure joy. God fulfills the desires of our hearts. You might still have that desire satisfied. All in God’s plan and timing.

May God continue to bless you, your family and your ministry.

  • Amy Fitte says:

Monica thank you for your words of honesty and of redemption and grace. I appreciate your vulnerability but mostly your strength in who God is and has been for you in your life! You said, “I have worked hard on my garden, planting and weeding so it can grow” and you worked hard to feel safe, secure with the Lords guidance. I can relate. But you articulated it so well- and embolden me (the sweet southern girl who didn’t stand up for herself) to stand firm and be strong from where God has delivered me and my family. I am never going back- nor will I allow those weeds to creep in again! It’s a beautiful illustration that gave me confirmation, It’s ok to be bold in Truth! Gods truth. He’s carried my sweet family through much- and I suppose I’m planting fresh flowers and beautiful tall trees to enjoy and protect. I’m also learning to take out the weeds quick- before they take root. And teach my precious babies to take up their sword of the word in order to fight back.
My daughters a bit of “Heaven on wheels” her self ;)) Us momma bears raised em’ right! It we learned from adversity, didn’t we. Thank you so much- and I hope you rest!

God bless- Amy (sweet Amy, until you step on my garden) ☺️

Monica,I have been following Lin Wood for months. Before I met, not personally, Lin and when all the evil began to show its face, with all the negativity, I thought we were going to live within the CCP. I had actually contemplating committing suicide. Lin has been an inspiration and brings light to all the dark in the US. I have known the Lord, but this evil that has shown its face in the US has brought me closer to God, it has brought me to repent and give my life to the lord. I believe, like Lin has said, God’s allowing this to happen to wake up America. I praise God that I got to know Lin, and most of all I have invited God into my heart, that is the reason I am still here today. I think God spoke through Lin to bring me closer to him. I love Lin like a brother.
    God Bless you
    Lin & Monica

FYI, pigs as a rule are very intelligent and one of the cleanest farm animals around. They dedicate and urinate as far from where they sleep as possible. They will roll in mud as a cooling agent and as a sun screen. The do not perspire and have very sensitive skin.
The passage you refer to comes from the old testament, where any cloven hoof animals were considered unclean and pigs were kept in cramped quarters. Thus they had nasty pens and the pearl casting phrase being brought about.
My experience is being a current owner of 3 little piggys currently and observing how they behave and how easily they can be trained. They are really quite intelligent and emotional creatures.

    Hello Monica,
The stolen election is just a tip of the iceberg. Evil entities have an agenda and I do believe strongly that God will bring justice to this country and give us back the government. I have two daughters who do not think the election was stolen. It is sad to realize how people make decisions. How can some do not see or simply live knowing that there were so many people who protested about this election and nothing was done to further investigate this. About the military, I have seen a video clip from this retired general who says there was fraud and the military knows it. General Thomas G Mcinerney and I believe many others knows about this.

Thanks Monica. You are able to hear me even though we’ve never met. And I hear you and your life trials as I’ve also been down that road. I have a husband in late stage PSP.
I’m really happy to hear you encourage people to get into the Word again. I know I had several versions on my shelf for years.
What got me into the scriptures again was reading the Left Behind books again. Not just the movies. The whole series. 13 books. It brought the story I could understand as a baby Christian to life for me. Now I’m a grandmom of 7, so I’ve been a baby far too long.
Now I’m in the word and happy to study because I understand the difference between this life on earth and eternity with Jesus.
You clarified what I’ve been feeling. That we all needed to go through these times. It will prepare some souls to understand what is coming. God Bless you and Lin. So happy to have you both in my life. I’ll pray for you both. Stay strong !

Then the inauguration was a sucker punch too. I have had to draw so deep into my faith to bare the corruption, traitors, and fraudulent election. But at least I’m awake. You and Linn, Sydney, Gen. Thank you Lin. I needed to hear those great suggestions. You’re so right! We need to fire up the biggest wave of grass root people and educate them with the truth in a kind manner.
I need to share a joke with you that is so true of the Trusting people of today

Two men dressed in pilots’ uniforms walk up the aisle of the aircraft. Both are wearing dark glasses, one is using a guide dog, and the other is tapping his way along the aisle with a cane.

Nervous laughter spreads through the cabin, but the men enter the cockpit the door closes, and the engines start up. The passengers begin glancing nervously around, searching for some kind of a sign that this is just a little practical joke. None is forthcoming.

The plane moves faster and faster down the runway, and the people sitting in the window seats realize they’re headed straight for the water at the edge of the airport property. Just as it begins to look as though the plane will plow straight into the water, panicked screams fill the cabin.

At that moment, the plane lifts smoothly into the air. The passengers relax and laugh a little sheepishly, and soon all retreat into their magazines and books, secure in the knowledge that the plane is in good hands.

Meanwhile, in the cockpit, one of the blind pilots turns to the other and
says, ‘You know, Bob, one of these days, they’re gonna scream too late and we’re all gonna die’ !!

Are the passengers not the American people? We are too trusting of our incompetent government officials. We need your direction and inspiration. I love your fireside chats. Keep up the great work Lin! And Monica is doing a fantastic job of keeping us up to date on your highs and lows of each day. Looking forward to more highs!

    Hi Monica,

I love love love listening to you!!! This is my 3rd time listening to you. I’ve been commenting for weeks on your telegram to send messages of encouragement to Lin. I love your straight talk. I, too, enjoy talking honestly about my faith, politics & struggles but def not the bible school teacher type others expect from a Christian woman. It’s not who I am. Keep doing what you’re doing. The Beth Moore’s may not enjoy your speech, but many do. It’s my mouth and assertive personality that I want to use to make a difference. I retire in Dec and am working now to figure it out by waiting on God to give me direction. Human Trafficking is my burning desire x 2 years.

Lin is unbelievable! He’s a modern day Job! He had it all. Everybody left him. The devil is tempting him to curse God. But Lin will not. Damn!! I feel for him. I pray for Lin’s deliverance daily.

We are the head and not the tail. God has given us MANY blessings. We have the advantage. We don’t need to be spotted points. We’re already winners.

    We need to stick together.

    Blessings,
    Kim

It’s like spring. Only the things popping up are thorny weeds instead of lush grass. But like every season it serves a purpose and we need to experience it before we can move into the next season. It’s going to be a very dark time but like a burned forest beauty will grow up and it will be more lush and beautiful than ever before. Thank you for your voice and conviction. I thank God for finding you.

  • Peggy says:

It is like the first part of the journey to the promised land. Deliverance from slavery, didn’t have to experience some of the plagues, first born didn’t have to die, on a journey that will teach us many things, and show God things about us. We are about to cross the Red sea. Let’s not make that golden calf. Let’s not doubt that we are better than the giants because we have God. Let’s enter the promised Land with our Great God. God wants to bless us. Let’s step up and step out on the journey!

  • Merrilea Reeves says:

Just found you. Do speaking my language. Thank you for your strength. Praying for you on this journey

Wow what a program you had! You sure have grown in the last year. You may not really think so but now I have talked to you and listen to you for a number of years now and this last year you have really grown.
This has been one heck of a year for you. I’ve heard your ups and downs. Now you are off the sand and on the solid rock, better than ever. You know what rock to which I speak.
    Love you from afar.
    Yours in Christ,

  • HALLI E CEOLA says:

I totally appreciate what you stand for and what you just said in the pod cast. I definitely agree with all that you said and have not backed away with president Trump. And since I have learned who Lin Wood is I have been following him too.
I would love to hear more from you and him and to learn more. Thank you for what you do, Praise God for people like you two and President Trump! I still believe Trump is coming back.

    • Tyara says:

Amen! God is my first love, then my husband, family and friends. I am so very thankful for people like you who also love God and believe He is in control. President Trump is still my president and I believe he will be back. Praise God and may he keep you all safe, healthy, happy and doing His will. God bless you all.

  • Warren M587 says:

    Awesome.
Monica nails it on repentance. Most in the religious world teach it means to repent of your sins, blah, blah, blah. But it only means to change your mind/direction.
Get in harmony with God and His Word and you will find yourself repenting ALL the time. I do!!!
    Blessings!!!

Lord have Mercy! This is the first time I have listened to your podcast. Let me just say, God has imperfect people(I am one)ready to hear from His other children who are speaking Truth! This broadcast was for “me”! God has perfect timing, always. I hear your bold and sassy shine through. Monica, I was born an only child, but know I have a new Sister in Christ. Congrats on the BOD with Lin Wood’s #FightBack group. My hashtag is #TruthHasNoExpirationDate Purged off Twitter has forced me to seek others…..a blessing in disguise. (I live in Georgia now, transplant from Midwest) God Bless You!

  • Sandi Baker says:

I’m only 20 min. in and THANK YOU for saying exactly what I feel! I am praying about these things daily and am fighting the constant stress causing serious migraines. I am also starting to get involved with local politics to start fighting for election reform and integrity. I am also e-mailing and calling unworthy political leaders to demand steps to overturn the Nov. 2 election fraud and make changes to our course for the future.

  • Tommy says:

First time listening, but I’ve been following on Telegram for a bit. Very well said! David de Plesis, a great theologian and a true Spirit-filled believer, was once asked the question, What is the greatest thing you know. He answered, Jesus loves me, this I know. They were amazed the simplest truth, sung since we were children, is the greatest thing to know.

  • Thank you for sharing truth.I have a daughter named Monica. Maybe you are close in age.Really encouraged by your testimony.

  • David and Silvia Rainer says:

We take your podcasts on the road with us even if it’s just going out for dinner! We come boldly to the throne and join with you in prayer. We too have seen many pastors who are not called to be pastors doing the business of church. We too see ‘church’ friends distancing themselves from us. We stand (on our knees) with you coming against corruption in the SCOTUS, the 3-letter agencies, the DOJ, the Fed govt, and the state governors and their minions who allowed this election to be stolen. As Georgians we are embarrassed, but as Christ Followers we are emboldened!!

  • Jeremy Spencer says:

    Good show.

I reflected a lot about who will be the new cultivator of conservative thought as well as the person who will be the voice of conservative wisdom.

We the conservative nation must come together and rally during this void to help each other through these Marxist times. Rush was the gatekeeper. He was the arbiter of truth and defense against the dark arts of the left.

Monica, you have that gift. We need more Rush and you are in that vain.

  • Brian Pelletier says:

Monica, I want you to know…your perspective and view of life in today’s fucked up world resonates with me.
    Thanks for being brave Monica…
You’re special and are one of the REAL good souls out there.
    I admire you very much…

  • Arlette Abdallah says:

so true Monica….. some people think that they are christians and follows God’s teaching. In reality they are not christians and or coward christians who prefer to stand with Baal and his army instead of standing firm and believing in God’s words.

  • Shari Kern says:

Continue the Liberty/Freedom education!! . Keep educating all people of our history, and prevent the media and the progressives from erasing it. Erasing history gives them control of the future. Thank you for always standing for Christ and our great country.

  • Janis Howard says:

Monica, your “take on Rush” mirrors mine. Can’t even think of ANY ONE PERSON THAT CAN REPLACE HIM, but, it will be wonderful to hear his”beloved Kathryn host the show on Monday. With the fabulous, faithful crew they gave, I’m praying that Rush’s message will continue on…..some way…God will. Ake a way…Oh Lord, please give Kathryn YOUR WISDOM.

  • Archie Patrick says:

Thank you for posting this. I will pass your message along. But, do not be discouraged if we only have a few Patriots that join the fight against the evil that is surrounding us. God reduced Gideon’s Army from 30,000 to 300 to go against 135,000. God needs to get the glory.

  • Francisco A. Castellanos says:

    Hello Monica :
Yes, no golden calves should exist for us Christians, Our Lord Almighty is the only one we should be looking at as a guide and as our God. People are very ignorant and they just react without much thought behind it and make accusations just as an emotional reaction to disruptions, that is why forgiveness is so crucial in this fight because no one is immune to frailty and ignorance of one thing or another and we have to be ready to forgive. In my family we have divisions, especially with the younger generation, I am 64, but I am waiting for the Lord to open their eyes because it takes God to do that and I think the time is getting closer. I just recently found you and I am glad for what you are doing. This work is ungrateful but take heart, God will repay and fulfil all our expectations. I ask the Lord for you and your family and for all those who are fighting for truth. I know God is faithful and He is holding them emotionally and spiritually because they are on His side. In reality, what is important is the salvation of people, all this will pass some day and God is letting this happen to wake people up to see the evil that exist and hopefully turn in repentance to Him. Bless you Monica, Love in the Lord, Francisco.

  • Gammy says:

I love and appreciate your message Monica. Your words glorify our Father. Love you!

  • Stefanie Gonzalez says:

    Good Morning Monica,
I was led to you by Lin. That being said, I felt that I was supposed to find you. When you speak it hits my heart in a way that is just right. Watching the audacity of those people who attacked you made my heart hurt. Not engaging with them was hard to do, but I try so hard not to be a mud slinger, finger pointing human. No matter what side of the political party we are on, at this point it feels like everyone is dependent on their government to save them. We need to turn to God and let Him save us. Thank you Monica for always speaking truth, the word of God, and being sassy!

  • John Denton says:

God bless you,I Thank God that he found you, and that he had me take another look, you were referred on Telegram by another person in the trenches, the ‘need to know’ is a need for control/fear,and it can be amplified by the number of people we are bound to protect and keep safe from harm & evil, family, loved ones, and friends, but I trust in God to keep ME able to do so, so I ‘scrape social media/internet for info, data, and pray that Jesus and God give me discernment, enlightment of things for me to be aware of, and keep ALL of us safe. Some of us will be called to him in this war, COVID, etc. WE may not understand, or like that, but we are the passengers on this bus called earth, and God is the bus driver, and he drew the entire map before the bus was even started up, or any of us passengers got our tickets.

  • We talked one night and you just had on this slinky silk top…. I am sooo bad. Keep up the great work.
    God Bless you
    Rich

  • Rose Baird says:

Morning Monica! Bob and I enjoyed meeting you Saturday in McEwen. Thank you for making the trip and talking to us. We know there is much work that has to be done. It’s just hard to stay enthused.
I look forward to seeing you at another meeting!

    • Monica Matthews says:

Hi Rose!! So glad you were there.. if you need encouragement, just turn on the news and watch the dangerous gang elements pouring into the borders.. that will help you stay focused on what you can do .. OR just call me, I’ll help you through it! xoxox

  • John Boutwell says:

Another show that I completely agree with. I had a friend of mine the other day ask me what I thought about the election. As soon as he went on to say something about “President” Biden, I cut him off. I told him it’s MR. Biden not President Biden. He then asked me why and I asked him if a thief breaks into Buckingham Palace and steals the crown jewels, would you call him the king simply because he put on the crown? I answered for him and said no, you do not honor of thief with a stolen title.

Their media should be held accountable the absolute lies and fear that they are spreading. Seriously just call it what it is. It’s not “misinformation”, it’s lies, pure and simple. I currently have a screenshot in my phone of a local Communist News Network. They posted an article on Facebook talking about Mike Lindell and, as they say, how he falsely accused Dominion of election fraud. Now this was their comment on top of the head line. All the hundreds of people that called them out on their crap. honestly, it felt good reading all the comments. Most of them asked “how do you know the claims are false? Did you INVESTIGATE them?”

  • Carole says:

I live in Michigan with a corrupt Governor. Let justice be served in all states who have corrupted this election. May The Good Lord reign down on evil.

  • David Poehlein says:

    How can I get involved?

  • Regina Whitehead says:

I am willing to help! My vote was stolen, and I am passionate about recalling this man. Call on me!

  • Francisco A. Castellanos says:

I am seeing light at the end of this dark fraudulent tunnel we have been living in since November, I hope this is the beginning of what God has determined to do with the evil that has been going on in this country and the world. Payment is coming, either for the good or the bad that people have been sown. Thanks for your efforts Monica.
    Francisco.

    • Eric Warren says:

My thoughts exactly Francisco! We only meet a handful of believers who shine like lights in a darkened world and they help us see light at the end of the tunnel! We live by hope and not by sight. Your prayers and kindness won’t go unanswered by God. I’m happy to find so many who feel the same as I do. I won’t compromise with tyranny because I am not a slave.

      • Peggy Saemisch says:

    • Rosalinda Guerrero says:

I have been feeling better since the election which was
so unfair. What makes me angry at the democrats that 24-7
365 days for four years they never stopped calling President Trump puttins puppet, Russian collision a racist a narcissist, my goodness . President Trump was trying so hard, and he didn’t let that stop him from doing everything possible to rebuild the Country to make Americans feel proud of being American People.
I will always defend President Trump, he is The Hardest Working President we’ve ever had .
Watching him on stage again at CPAC , l can say he looked great and better.

    You’re on fire!

  • RC says:

I would LOVE to see new momentum for The Fair Tax – it’s seemingly lost steam because it’s 2 main advocates, Neal Boortz and former Georgia US Rep John Kinder are off their soapboxes. This is a tax only for consumption and NOT INCOME. You’re paying taxes as you purchase and that’s it! No more filing! Someone buying an in-store brand of soda would pay way less taxes than the guy buying cognac or IMPORTED beer/wine, plus all persons of majority age would be issued a monthly PREBATE check to cover basic daily needs and not paying taxes until one covers those needs. A single adult with no dependents should get a smaller PREBATE than those, whether married or single, with dependents. Paying taxes under The Fair Tax essentially means buying more stuff in general, making 1 or more big ticket purchases, particularly furniture, electronics and appliances, or both

Certainly The Fair Tax has a UUUUUGE disadvantage in that it would greatly DISEMPOWER The Imperial Federal GOOBERment – one of my all-time favorite BOORTZisms – by stripping it of its power to pick winners and losers, buy votes (i.e., soak the rich campaigns) and use taxation as a cudgel against its perceived enemies. The Fair Tax could just NUKE the concepts of lobbying and crony capitalism

Of course The IF GOOBERment will never willingly give up their power and their ability to gobble up more and to intrude into more people’s lives

If at least 66% of Americans were like me (I limit my TV viewing to football and maybe the very occasional happening in MLB NBA and major college hoops, I saturate myself in talk radio whether in real time or podcasts, particularly YOURS) they would get the vivid understanding I have that The IF GOOBERment (& 2 some extent state and local) IS THE ENEMY, then We The People would really become The Force that electorally hogties the IF GOOBERment to implement The Fair Tax, then DUMFQRATS would be in permanent minority status and the Dastardly Corrupt Swamp would be WAY LESS significant in our lives

    I can dream, can I?

  • John Boutwell says:

    Monica,
It is absolutely insane how people can simply get away with trafficing people like that. Its like in my email that I sent you today, criminals need to fear the law again. This administration will not help that in any way. So many children go missing on a daily basis, its sad that we don’t do more than we already do to stop it. Look at Epstein for example, he was caught, arrested and while in holding, he “committed suicide”. How many elites could he have brought down? How many government officials would have fallen with him? How many of Hollywood’s peoples would be behind bars right now if what happened to him did not happen at all? It is time to say enough is enough and start utilizing EVERY tool at our disposal to bring these children and adults home.

  • Susan Oehlbeck says:

  • Deborah Schmidt says:

Greetings, Ms. Matthews and God bless. Are you in TN and running for office or GA? I just came across your tweets and say congratulations on your endeavors. If, you are in TN how can I help you get elected? I’m a feisty KY hill raised Christian woman and fired up. Our election was stolen from us and I can only imagine what God thinks of America since we’ve turned our backs on Him starting decades ago. I look forward to hearing from you personally. God bless.

  • Kate says:

I firmly believe we will never have a free and fair election again. I am not being a Debbie downer I am being realistic. Did you ever ask yourself how these politicians stay in office for 40+ years and never do anything for their constituents? They don’t even live in the districts they represent because they have run them into the ground. The cheating has been going on for years and in 2020 they over shot the mark and got caught, not by the “officials” because they are part of it, but by the American people. We witnessed it and they still call us conspiracy theorist and liars, “don’t believe your eye and ears, believe what I tell you”. I have very little faith this will be corrected or changed in 2022 or 2024.

  • Harold Robinette says:

Yes, we need it to be a Human Rights issue to stop the thieves and those Elected to stand up against them should do so and VOTE accordingly.

  • Kim muhlenfeld says:

Why can’t we as Americans file suit against the the government, or Supreme Court for failing to uphold the Constitution. It is our country and politicians have forgotten they work for us. I would love to get a class action suit going in each state for the voting fraud that took place. WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING, I JUST DON’T KNOW WHAT. What can we as citizens do when our top cops and highest courts are compromised and working for the bad guys?

  • Patricia Fuson says:

    https://coronamapping.com/vaccines/

Just as she says, the clinical trials are not even finished. We only have 5 months of VAERS data. The spike protein directly impacts the regulation of ACE2.

  • Linda Moser says:

Monica, thank you for the truths you have shared with this podcast. It hits home in so many areas. One day at a time, one step at a time with our heart, soul and mind focused on asking, “what next Lord?” Where do you want me today? What do you have for me to do today? If we can but live in this reality of readiness, we can become a worrier for the kingdom.

  • THANK YOU !!! You are exactly right, they are Desperate!! Every HIPPA law broken in the fake name of “safety for all”- they are not going house to house because some poor people do not have access to the vaccine. EVERYONE who wants a vaccine has had plenty of access. The numbers are down because people see the danger and are not as dumb as they had hoped.
Thank you for encouraging Americans to stand for what is right and Constitutional! I praise God for your boldness! Thank you again for saying Yes to your calling!

  • Deborah says:

Thank you for speaking truth again. I feel this slime of evil thinking taking over while so many just roll over and go back to sleep or happily but into it as if it’s the new and improved enlightenment. Since this indoctrination started when my kids were in school in the 80s and come to think of it during my high school years in the 70s, it’s taken root in the minds of so many people I know. I’m excused as a stubborn woman who clutches on to my beliefs. Keep fighting.
The Word is more powerful than mans ideas. They’re trying to wear us down but we have more power than they imagine.

  • Betsy Ross says:

    Dr. Ruby,

I’m not in twitter or instagram and barely FB. I really enjoy your show – very level, great integrity, no yelling or hyperism (SP?). Thanks much for the direction.

    • Monica Matthews says:

Thank you! I’ve been on hiatus for a bit, but BACK! You con find them here and on download mediums.. xo

  • Bill Cox says:

! Monica you have a nack for the truth. Right now I’m “restricted” from LinkedIn. Evidently they didn’t like my profile picture. I pray your big news is about a new social media that doesn’t make up social values. Still trying to get my account back. I was having probably 5 times the notifications than twatter. That was 6,000 versus 3. Neither is great, twatter throttles and shadowbanneds, linkedin shuts you down. I’ll be back! Thank you for keeping us motivated, in life and spirit.

    • Bill Cox says:

Still fighting for America! Social media is not the only solution. I am in the public everyday. I speak with new people everyday. America will be taken back, despite the nwo.

  • There is no evidence of election fraud in the 2020 Presidential election. None. The audits came back empty and the machines that Trump claimed were hacked weren’t even used in the swing states. As Christians, we need to stop repeating lies and impugning the reputations of good men and women.

  • conrad hailparn says:

Have you thought of a town hall type of meeting in several parts of Atlanta where you are the speaker for this subject? I would like to hear you speak. At 90 i do not go out much anymore. Conrad

Conrad! So good to hear from you my sweet friend! YES! I’m about to schedule a few events. I would love to see you!!

  • SCOTT HILE says:

Monica, thank you for your commitment to truth and awareness of the underbelly of most of corporate America.
I pray that all Christian Americans can be awakened and become a movement towards the “equality” Christ defined and stand firm against the powers that only see the equality mask as a tool to divide and conquer.
The last thing I would cheer for is another civil war, as it would be the bloodiest thing this country would ever witness on American soil. I pray that ALL Americans would seek common ground and peace before the spark of revolution is struck.

  • Todd Headlee says:

    Hi Monica –

I love your show and look forward to it whenever you post the podcast. I also love the snippet of you singing the Nation Anthem in the opening. You have a beautiful voice. Is there a place to hear the full anthem and more of your music? By the way, I am ToddHeadleeAZ on Twitter

    Have a beautiful weekend and…

    God bless,

    Todd

Great show! It’s been a while since your email has shown. Love your encouragement. It’s coming up on the one year anniversary of my husband going to heaven on Thanksgiving. Focusing on the things to be thankful for.
Love you Monica. Will always be thankful to you for generously opening your home to stay while going to the Henry Wright seminar. So many other fun memories while living in GA.
    Warm thoughts,

  • Todd Crawford says:

What a great segment!!! You are right. As I said to you on Twitter…..we are no longer a nation of God. For the first time in history, the entire world is Godless. These are the easy days…..the truly dark days are coming.

You are an amazing woman and warrior, Monica! God has chosen you bc of your gift and platform. Others need your help and guidance….help them get out of the “system” and help them (incl me) deepen their relationship with God!!

  • RC Kim says:

I heard a little bit of the trial on WSB radio yesterday, the judge started reciting counts, immediately after the judge said ‘guilty’ on the very first count someone who was obviously a black woman said ‘wooooooo! ‘ or ‘wheeeee! ‘ like she was on a roller coaster or watching a sporting event, to which the judge ordered her escorted out of the court room and warned any outburst would be similarly punished

  • Dr. Ray Botte says:

This nurse practitioner PhD doesn’t not understand that the mRNA “vaccine” instructs construction of the viral spike protein in the ribosomes in the cytoplasm which is outside the cell nucleus where DNA is located. So it does not involve DNA at all. This occurs in the muscle cells at the injection site. This mRNA does not continue to make the spike protein in perpetuity. The antibodies produced to this spike protein specifically does attack the SARS Cov-2 virus spike protein preventing the virus from attaching to the ACE2 cell receptor which is the way the virus enters the cell. The normally produced angiotensin converting enzyme is still able to attach to the ACE2 cell receptors as the virus is blocked from interacting with the cell ACE2 receptor. The antibodies do not block the angiotensin converting enzyme activity.

    • Paula says:

Dr. Is there anyway to reverse the changing of one cells and proteins from the Mock cell Protein and DNA, after they have been established in one’s body. If one has an original DNA analysis by using stem cells.

  • Harrell Mann says:

Very intelligent conversation. Not much on alternate currency though. I totally depend on God’s provision.

  • conrad hailparn says:

Are you on any local radio station now? Conrad. My e-mails to you still get rejected.

  • How do you feel about J6ers?

    • Monica Matthews says:

How do I FEEL? I BELIEVE Constitutional rights are being violated, due process completely molested and abuse of prisoners is occurring. I believe people should know why they are incarcerated and given the oppty to defend themselves as innocent until proven guilty in an expedient manner, in an unbiased court of law. I BELIEVE this was a highly orchestrated attempt to incite a false flag to perpetuate a narrative to ensure Donald Trump is never POTUS again. I FEEL a deep sense of grief for my nation

  • With celebrity sexual assault and harassment scandals flowing from the showbiz industry, some people (including a CNN-based commentator I listened to a few years ago) wonder whether they’ll feel comfortable consuming products involving seriously-offending entertainers. Meantime, some big-celebrity fans will continue viewing their favorites nonetheless, while others may indefinitely remain in denial, as superstardom’s brightness can be blinding — especially when the product becomes legendary.

Currently, the recently deceased and beloved comedian/actor Bob Saget is being informally and apparently erroneously accused (mostly via social media) of pedophilia.

Michael Jackson’s questionable history of having young boy sleepovers at his Neverland Ranch is an example because of the enormous organized vicious attacks via various media on anyone, including big TV producers, who dare suggest that the legendary pop-music artist had pedophilic tendencies. He simply was — and still is — that great and loved.

As a pre-broadcast-era-artist example, many people to this day have great difficulty accepting, or even caring, that acclaimed author Lewis Carroll — writer of the Alice In Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass children’s novels — enjoyed having little girls pose nude for his camera.

  • I believe there stubbornly remains an outdated general societal mentality, albeit perhaps subconsciously held: Men can take care of themselves, and boys are basically little men. Over many years of news-media consumption, I’ve noticed that when victims of sexual abuse are girls their gender is readily reported as such; however, when they’re boys, they’re usually referred to gender-neutrally as children. It’s as though, as a news product made to sell the best, the child victims being female is somehow more shocking than if male. Also, I’ve heard and read news-media references to a 19-year-old female victim as a ‘girl’, while (in an unrelated case) a 17-year-old male perpetrator was described as a ‘man’.

Could it be this reveals an already present gender bias held by the news consuming collective?

It could be the same mentality that might help explain why the book Childhood Disrupted was only able to include one man among its six interviewed adult subjects, there being such a small pool of ACE-traumatized men willing to formally tell his own story of childhood abuse. Could it be evidence of a continuing subtle societal take-it-like-a-man mindset? One in which so many men, even with anonymity, would prefer not to ‘complain’ to some stranger/author about his torturous childhood, as that is what ‘real men’ do? I tried multiple times contacting the book’s author via internet websites in regards to this non-addressed florescent elephant in the room, but I received no response.

  • Well said Monica. My thoughts are leftists have sold a bucket shit to the Woke, for no other motivation than to agitate and devide. Our World is Lost without the redeeming blood of Christ Our Lord.

Not everyone on the school board was elected, some were appointed

It is unclear to me how we got to this point, or when/what we can do about it

I’d love to see that addressed on a future show

Can a flu shot be reversed that has Mock cell DNA and Mock cell Proteins? They got my DNA through Ancestry. Is there anyway I can restore my orginal proteins? I had a dream I was driving in my car It was darkness, couldn’t see the stoplights. I looked to the right and saw the Pharmacy masked in darkness too. This was where I got my shot from. Only God knew where. There has spiritual implications as well. We need to help people by trying to reverse this. We need doctors to pull together and help find a way to undo what they are doing.

  • I would love to listen to your show daily however I don’t know exactly where to find you daily or when I could. Thank You for being a real American Woman. I tip my hat to your folks!!

I totally agree with you. It is urgent to bring as many into the Kingdom. The meeting in the air (rapture) is coming but!, we’re coming back with Yeshua Jesus, and live here on earth for a thousand years. In the meantime we need to make wise decisions with our money, prepare daily in prayer to help others to prepare themselves.
Extremely well said, Monica and hoping to join your next talk.

Thank you Monica for this podcast! I miss you but understand! It’s Teacher Tammy from X! I stepped away too because I was called to go back into the classroom for a friend who had a baby and her class was so challenging they went through seven substitutes before I walked into the job! It’s been six weeks and they are learning and thriving! It’s all because of the Lord working through me! I’m so glad you are praying for those who have caused you harm and taken inventory! I’m not totally off X but barely there and it’s better! I love you!
