* Sunday Special! America’s Greatest Threat- Protecting Sacred Ground

On my show this week, Lin Wood gave his first of what I’m certain will be many sermons to come. Not in the traditional sense, but his powerfully personal TESTIMONY has garnered close to 100K downloads, that’s all glory for GOD. In that broadcast, he mentioned the heart and always following it. Some of you took exception to that because the Bible teaches the heart is deceitful above all things. Well, what if I told you your perception of that word has different meaning? What if I told that America has a greater enemy than Communists or wicked politicians that make us more vulnerable to attacks on our soil than any one admin could usher in? This is for you, America. It’s my heart to yours. Let’s break some bread. xo

I am great for all you information, praying for you all may the holy spirit continue to give you the courage to speeck Gods truth and protect you.

I love Lin. You have to be careful about ‘following your heart’. The Bible is CLEAR, the heart is deceitful. Discipline your heart to bow to the guidance of the Holy Spirit is the ONLY way to justify following your heart.

Great message…I am looking forward to reading your book…I am the quintessential old maid kept by the Prince of peace. it will be interesting to see how our experiences compare. We communicated on FB after I stumbled on your interview with Lin Wood… I am JemimaG on Telegram…best regards

  • Monica, thank you for opening up. We live in Katy, Tx… and I learned about you from Lin. And how wonderful for you to extend the opportunity for us to encourage him on your channel. I appreciated your experience and testimony very much.
I have been sober since 3-3-1987 and my testimony of God’s grace over my life is full of His grace, mercy and intercession! Thanks to my personal relationship with Jesus because if I depended on religion I’d probably focus on my “unworthiness.”
I am right there with you and Lin! The Mind of Christ and the renewing of our mind through God’s word, is priority. (My 12 step program was critical in accepting myself because if God made me as I am, and if HE knows me and accepts me—warts and all—I’m right where I’m supposed to be. I used to be really hard on myself for not focusing on filling them out but I came to peace and acceptance of who I am and that set me free from the bondage of self.
And I agree—and see through all of what’s going on. I am dealing with ulcerative colitis myself and my GI and functional medicine physicians have me on sulfa drugs, digestive enzymes, and I do all of the natural supplements to manage. I have the HLA-B27 genetic marker and have been dealing with pain for some time in both my hands but I am an artist and painter. And it’s definitely mind over matter at times but I trust He gave me my gifts to use—even though I, too, didn’t finish my BFA and left as a senior in Fine Art. We have to be true to ourselves because God wants us to be who He designed us to be… and it has been my experience by His promises, faithfulness and trusting in Him that we are carried by Him, from Glory to Glory. (I’ll share the link to my Carbonmade acct. so you can see what I do.) I am a Texan a few gens on part of my dad’s side and before that from LA and part from GA) but my mother’s side migrated from TN/AL/MS/ and Charleston/Beaufort before that so we are Southern, too.
BTW, I am very disappointed that Beth Moore has been beating up my President. I don’t understand it but a few of my cousins, too, are blinded from the enemy and they have thick scales over their eyes! All we can do is pray for them, Monica, because WHEN the truth hits them all between the eyes, you know that you know—they are all going to fall into utter shock! And guess what? They will have to repent of the discord they have sown between family members and friends… and you know what God’s word says about the teachers. That liability is weighted heavily… so pray for Beth and everyone who has been so misguided. Many cannot look at or hear what we have heard and accept the truth. But that’s not on us because we have tried to share the bits to lessen the blow! At least my husband Randy and I are paying attention and he at first thought I was making things up. I only wish I was.
I trust our President and I know that he hasn’t abandoned us. I also understand the bluffs and strategy—this is about life and death. And this is for our very survival. (As a teenager of 15 & 16 I attended survival camp in the San Juan’s and hiked from 9k’ to 15k’ – trekking 9 miles a day with 42 lbs on my back… which blessed me with a strong sense of survival instinct because of that—and patience is key. I am standing on Jeremiah 29:11 and I’m grateful to have listened to your humanness this evening, sister. I feel like I know your heart a bit more. Thank you for allowing us to walk a little bit on the holy ground of your life.
    Hugs and love, Paige

Your word today filled me up. I admit that I’ve felt empty alot lately. You were spot on and thank you for being so generous.

  • Linda Moser says:

Monica, Thank you for the truth of the word. It is so refreshing to hear Gods word spoken by someone who is not afraid to expose there heart. We as Christians so many times spend a lot of time hiding our failures and areas of imperfection. We fear the judgement of our fellow Christians or the Church. Love cast’s out fear.

We are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God! Romans 3 tells us God can be depended upon totally! Everyone is guilty of sin. But God’s grace declares believers are not guilty by Faith. So yes Monica, tell it from the roof tops. There is no longer room for religious spirits in our Churches and Christian communities. Romans 3:21 says, “Therefore by the Law there be no flesh justified in his sight; for by the Law is the knowledge of sin. The word also says, “Judge not least you be judged.”

We need to be sensitive to the still small voice that speaks to our hearts. Today I was at the dentist. The dental hygienist is woman of color. God nudge me to speak to her. I opened the conversation with telling her I had sent a message to the White House about my ideas on bringing Unity to our nation. I told her that I had relayed that we needed to quit identifying ourselves as African Americans, White Americans, Asian Americans, Latino Americans or minority Americans. We are simply Americans. One Nation under God. She got a funny look on her face at first, but then I just said to her, “I don’t care what color you are, I love you.” That one little word, love, brought joy to her countanence. We were then able to exchange so ideas and insights.

As your message declared, listen to your heart. That is how God speaks to us with that still small voice.

Also, I too spent almost 30 years in Atlanta. After wondering around through several states, I am now a South Carolina transplant.

To address another item you mentioned; at the age of 46, I returned to college and graduated from UGA and became an Art teacher. It was never about a job, but was a calling and pure joy. God fulfills the desires of our hearts. You might still have that desire satisfied. All in God’s plan and timing.

May God continue to bless you, your family and your ministry.

Monica thank you for your words of honesty and of redemption and grace. I appreciate your vulnerability but mostly your strength in who God is and has been for you in your life! You said, “I have worked hard on my garden, planting and weeding so it can grow” and you worked hard to feel safe, secure with the Lords guidance. I can relate. But you articulated it so well- and embolden me (the sweet southern girl who didn’t stand up for herself) to stand firm and be strong from where God has delivered me and my family. I am never going back- nor will I allow those weeds to creep in again! It’s a beautiful illustration that gave me confirmation, It’s ok to be bold in Truth! Gods truth. He’s carried my sweet family through much- and I suppose I’m planting fresh flowers and beautiful tall trees to enjoy and protect. I’m also learning to take out the weeds quick- before they take root. And teach my precious babies to take up their sword of the word in order to fight back.
My daughters a bit of “Heaven on wheels” her self ;)) Us momma bears raised em’ right! It we learned from adversity, didn’t we. Thank you so much- and I hope you rest!

God bless- Amy (sweet Amy, until you step on my garden) ☺️
