Borders, Popes and Propaganda (Boundaries of GOD)

What is it about man that makes us think we have the authority to judge another man’s servant? (Romans 14:4). The Scriptural admonition to avoid this deceptive, but seemingly noble temptation birthed in self-righteousness, is strong. As leaders; robed, ordained  or otherwise esteemed, we are held to a higher standard of sharing our ‘opinions’. Yes, even in the day of expert overload, we should weigh our answers according to the platform we represent, particularly as clergy.

I take exception to anyone who would profess to know what someone else’s eternal destination is, short of citing an actual profession, as temporary as that conclusion might be. Proof/Pudding? Sure. Tree/Fruit? Yes. But not all fruit is representative of a final outcome. I personally reserve the right to change.

It may have escaped the Pope’s memory that God’s Kingdom is one of boundaries and borders, including but not limited to, the New Jerusalem (The City Of Peace) (Rev 21:15) The bridge is Jesus. Not man or man’s version of religion.  Satan’s attempt to guilt the earth’s residents into ‘accepting’ the migration of oppressive cultural and religious practices are on full display and ironically enough, from those who proclaim to be the bridge to the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We err.

I find it interesting to note there was a guest at a supper banquet (Matthew 22:11) held by the King, who upon questioning as to how his presence came to be, was discovered to not have on the proper attire (righteousness of God in Christ) and was subsequently ejected from the feast. The boundary, the fence, the wall, was Jesus Christ. An entry point by any other name into the Kingdom of God was, is and always will be, Jesus Christ. Why? Monica’s simple salvation theory? Because God is love and the only route to love is through love.

While the narrative of complete inclusion (ultimate reconciliation theory) in the name of God, Love, Jesus and Peace tickles the ear of our humanistic propensity, I submit to you the reasonable (another unpopular term today) possibility that GOD is a GOD of order and boundaries (according to His Word). I mean, He set the ocean’s boundaries (Proverbs 8:29) so, why do we demonize the sanity of boundaries, to our detriment?  Why do we equate a God of love with anything goes?  Again, we err.

The new earth, the city of GOD, will have gates, boundaries and borders. Let that sink in. Why shouldn’t a nation birthed in freedom protect not only its ideological foundations, but our earthly boundaries? Why are those of us who subscribe to order and sovereignty, suddenly demonized as patriots worthy of a public spanking from a leader of a man-made religion that has effectively erected itself as the vessel to God? (complete with its own currency and walled city)? #Hypocrisy.

Why don’t we ask the countless men and women who have fought and died to maintain the borders of our nation, if they fought for us to have the right to enact lawlessness and execute judgment worthy of psychological evaluation, much less evidence of spiritual bewitchment.

I don’t know what Mr. Trump’s personal testimony of faith is, but I do know what my Heavenly Father says about the sanity of order and boundaries. This should answer the age old question and the current world mantra of “Can’t we all just get along?” The short answer? No. Ephesians 6:12-18.
