Happy President’s Day!
Could you have imagined a nation filled with vile signage and vitriol seeping from the swamps of hell marching through our streets in protest to a fair and square Presidential LOSS?
Yeh, me neither. 
My topic was supposed to be on transparency, so let’s see if I can somehow marry seeing defiling mantras in the streets of Atlanta today in protest to our newly elected President, coupled with calling for the execution of our first lady, with what my response should be to it. Ok, here goes…
When I see signs held by women referring to their wombs with language in the form of expensive porn, (think 50 shades of abuse) it grieves me. Women are the beautiful component to God’s creation.
The real injustice is complete when I see a child in tow, shouting like the female who lacks identity. And so generational ignorance prevails.
One thing you learn in deliverance ministry…
is just how much devils LOVE attention. Watch the Grammys much? Seriously. There’s nothing more appealing than the collective gasp of a bunch of otherwise appropriate humans to a den of self idolizing devils. (not saying all my music peeps are devils, but if the booty shorts & boots fit, then wear em) This is especially true for those of us who have accepted Christ’s atonement for our now and eternity. The ultimate high for the demonic.
I won’t give it that type of attention. I’m not at all shocked, but I do share my Father’s heart in calling it what it is and calling others to look away. Look UP.
As a pilot in training, I can tell you, if your trim is not constantly set to reflect the pitch necessary to keep your nose UP and headed in the direction desired for your final destination, you will not make it.
Same goes for us right now as the light is shone upon the darkest parts of the human fallen nature we agreed with in the garden. If the trim of our eyes, ears, and hearts are not on things above, we will not be prepared to show up in life with our best selves.
If our trim is not focused on things above, we will be fearful, faithless, and pimped by tossing narratives of humanism (by a ruthless devil) without hope, when they awaken.
And some of them will.
We are tempted…
to believe that just because we are in the clouds of Christianity we are not pointed for the ground at grand speed. We need to check our attitude indicator to ensure our own flight as freedom loving, sane, decent, God-fearing Americans is set to the the actual horizon of our Creator.
He is bigger than any army of demons parading through our streets by virtue of hijacking the human psyche and heart who can’t seem to see beyond their underwear.
Are we prepared to pray for these people we call fellow citizens? Are we prepared to receive them when their own lights go on? Are we prepared for the moment when many Sauls become Pauls? After all, we were once one of them. Many of us will be found like Jonah, sitting under a shade tree the Lord provides, mad as hell that he spared them!
Those of you who think it’s not fair for God to spare someone who lived glorifying literal hell on earth, at their last breath. But it happens. So get over it.
Just be thankful you had more days on this earth with him, his peace, joy, order and sanity,than not. This isn’t meant to be condescending, it’s called actual transparency.
Black lights are great when you’re 45 trying to look hot at a nightclub after hours and hope no one notices all the years on your face or your body not held together as tightly as it once was. It’s great for showing the stains we all pretend we aren’t sleeping on during hotel stays, but the biology is what it is.
And I’m telling you that we need to humbly pray for minds and hearts to be illumined by actual light or be prepared to have an early, stress filled death in more ways than one.
It took me too long to get here, too many mountains of doubt, unbelief and self everything, to let a liberal, a devil or otherwise misguided nation of spiritually deluded victims, take me captive again. I got enough going on. And so do you.
Fly above the fray & pray. Pray for your own feet to stay established and for the others who have no idea they have fallen. Our nation needs us.
